  1. How good are the dees!!! Melbourne by 24. Game on at 3/4 quarter time then we’ll do our usual thing and pull away in the last

This bloke has the easiest job in the world I reckon. All he ever has to do is say something provocative toward a group of members, doesn't matter what it is, as long as its contrarian. That's it, job done. He's the Kyle Sandilands of AFL media. Causing outrage is a business these days. The saddest part of that is that is works.
  3. predictable journalism is ... predictable BB and Tmac aren't young, so its extremely important to keep Sam for the long term in my view. And I reckon the club will find a way to make that happen.
  4. @Lucifer's Hero perhaps the most satisfying update ever awaits your contracts thread
  5. For full effect, they should rebrand as Harmes Paint
  6. It's all falling into place
  7. If dropping 1 game derails our season after a 7-0 start, then we aren't ready for September success, plain and simple.
  8. Fritta is very important, but saying him missing 1 week derails our season is extremely dramatic at best He'll walk away with a fine and will play Saturday is my call
  9. I'm going to be extremely disappointed if we don't challenge this. I'd be arguing against the impact grading. No concussion and re-joined the game. On what planet is that medium impact?!
  10. No we don't.
  11. I am far from convinced with Baker
  12. Smokey replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Yeah, and that reason was we had no forwards at the time

Out: Melksham, Tommo, Baker In: Weed (Tmac to cover Tommo), Sparrow, Harmes I'm going to repeat myself here: Out: Melksham
  14. Melksham was horrible. From what I saw, the stats he accumulated came mostly after half time when we starting controlling the game better. I'd love to see him dropped.
  15. That game showed me where we are at more than any other game this year, including last week. The best teams still find a way, even when they are playing as badly as possible. We saw that today. Even when we were terrible for so long, we still managed to beat good teams sometimes. There's something to be said for the freedom of having zero expectations on you. North played as good as I've seen them in ages. We bank the 4 points and move right along. We can't play our best every week, I'm just thankful that we're good enough to still win when we don't. We would have dropped that game 100% of the time any other year, including 2018.
  16. AFL media doing their absolute best to shame Kozzie over practically nothing right now. I'm not even mad though, just basking in the glory of a relevant Melbourne Football Club.
  17. Too many highlights after the first 15 minutes to mention. I'll try tho: 1. Nibblers goal 2. Spargos tackle 3. Rivers diving spoil
  18. That goal from the boundary was absolutely magnificent
  19. Danger game? lol Dee's by 100
  20. I almost cried tonight WE HAVE ARRIVED
  21. Smokey replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
Actually the coach said it specifically in the post match presser last week, so its straight from the horses mouth, champ
  22. You're not wrong in that we are spoilt for choice in the tall forward department. I'd certainly be thinking about trading one of them at seasons end if we could fill another gap, such as another starting winger or small pressure forward for depth. Lets see what it all looks like after September
  23. fair enough, i didnt actually look at any match reports and went off a comment i heard somewhere about them both going well at casey. just petty for may then, leave the rest. unnecessary changes to a winning formula is asking for trouble, especially coming into a game with a lesser hawks off the back of beating geelong.
  24. Ah right, so we have equality across the board now do we? Job done, case closed yeah? A worthy female succeeding in a traditionally male-dominated world often brings out the worst in fragile males who refuse to acknowledge that there's still quite a ways to go with gender equality in this country. I guess you haven't been watching the news lately hey? Look at our parliament ffs. You are making yourself a fantastic example of that fragile ego in this thread.
  25. Sometimes I think you have some sort of grasp on the game, but then you say things like Spargo should be dropped. Spargo is having a fantastic season so far and is playing his role as well as anyone else. And to suggest that this many players could be dropped "easily" in a 4-0 team is just ludicrous. Out: May, Melksham In: Petty, BB or Weed
