NON MFC: Rd 17 2021
Wonderful round of football, with some very enjoyable results across the board

How do Bulldogs do it?
If only the world and football were as simple as you're making it out to be ...

Which MFC player have you met personally?
Met Gawny back in 09 in Fed Square before QB I believe. I'm 6"1 and I look tiny in the photo we took together. Great bloke Met Robbo too, another champion bloke. One of my fav players growing up. The player I'd most love to meet (and ideally have a beer with) would have to be Stevie May.
- A minor quibble

Football commentary does my head in
Commentary officially died when the great man retired

BB made a difference
I think your scope in which Ben can impact the game is limited to the very tradition metrics on which we measure a key forward i.e. goals, marks i50 etc If you look beyond those traditional metrics you'll see multiple ways BB positively impacted the game

Football commentary does my head in
Oh thats a good one - BT's different words for describing a kick "A slider", "a dribbler", "a chiseler". There are many more, cant think of them all right now. wow wee

BB made a difference
I thought he was really good. Its pretty clear to me that Tmac and our smalls are a lot better off when we have Ben to drag away their best defender. Thought Brown did excellent work up the ground presenting a really strong target with clean hands. BB is definitely part of the equation now, can't see him getting dropped unless he has multiple mares in a row. Sorry SW

POSTGAME: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
The best part of wins like that is we don't hear from @Dr.D for a little while, who has once again got it completely wrong We don't lose to the comps best teams, its that simple.

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
Do you even hope you're wrong, or do you actually enjoy us losing?

GAMEDAY: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
The formula is simple. Once the media starts talking about a teams finals and/or flag chances, we beat them. When a team is on a hot winning streak, we beat them. If a team is sitting in the top 8, we beat them. Don't let a recent bout of flat form make you forget about how we have delivered against the comps best consistently this year. If we win tonight, it will only solidify my thinking that we are very well placed to win games in September. When the finals start, any losses we've had to bad teams will mean absolutely nothing. Port aren't that good. We're due to bounce back from some flat form over the past month. I predict Dee's by 4 goals and collective sigh of relief among the DL faithful.

CHANGES: Rd 17 vs Port Adelaide
Brayshaw has been fantastic defensively and is really settling into this new role on the wing. Dropping him would be ma huge mistake.

You'd be well out of pocket so far this year

My Round 17 Preview and Prediction
Agree our best and worst is still too far apart, but we've been sitting on top of the ladder for almost half the season and still sit second. We are literally a top 2 team right now. Speculate all you want about how the season will end but lets just deal with the reality as it is right now.

Tracc miked up
We did planking a lot in my Army days. It's incredibly hard to do for long periods of time. I have never heard anyone speak about it in a positive light. Who cares. What the hell are we even talking about again?

Rudeness towards trainers
Come on mate, in this day and age we don't need to see this sort of thing. It is possible to show emotion without being rude to the people working for you.

Is sitting on top a bad thing?
The post was a bit ambiguous. Do you think we embraced being on the top of the ladder?
