Ahh the old doomsday thread following a loss Here we go again indeed
  2. Its less to do with Majak being good, and more to do with the fact we need coverage for BB and weid while they are injured. Recent history tells us we cannot rely on Tmac to carry the forward line. Having Majak available is prudent.
  3. Concurrent users
  4. Fair? In comparison its quite a lofty expectation for someone who's assesses a player as good off the back of finishing 11th in the BNF 4 years ago lol
  5. Loving the positivity here SWYL!! I knew you weren't all doom and gloom after all
  6. We'd be officially drowning if any of several key position players went down after Weed and BB, and some here are saying no to a life raft. Very strange. Can't really think of a better option to address our recent need for KP backup. Good move.
  7. This is absolute nonsense ... by "quite a way"
  8. Couldn't care less. All I know is I don't have to listen to his commentary this year and for that I couldn't be happier.
  9. And he's gone. What a fantastic day for footy. Good riddance

I've been a huge critic of Tom's last few seasons, but I'd be absolutely wrapt if he rose from the ashes in 2021. By the look of BB's knee, it looks like we really need Tmac circa 2018 back again.
  11. I find the most frustrating thing about Kane's nonsense comments is the fact they get a new thread here every time he opens his mouth. A nothing comment, with nothing to discuss further. Round 1 can't come soon enough.

Why can't it get better? Why is he different to the multitude of AFL players who have had a history of knee issues that get on the park every week?

At any given point, this will exclude more than half the list.
  14. Trump lost man, its time to move on with your life ...
  15. I'd go with a laugh, because thankfully ignorant views such at those here who are suggesting racism is a fictitious creation of the left are few and far between on this forum.
  16. Welcome to Demonland Rita Panahi
  17. And it will happen again this year, except they aren't exactly a young team anymore
  18. I thought he was fairly serviceable last year. He's no star, but he appears to hold his own down back mostly.
  19. Well what is it, play our strongest team or trial things?
  20. Fascinating to see how May is perceived on DL now versus when he arrived at the club Speaks volumes of May. Wish he was captain
  21. Hard to imagine our best 22 with Tmac starting at CHF after his performance over the last 2 years. I don't care how fit he looks this pre-season needs to earn his way back into the side.

Serious question to those here who don't think Wiz Jnr should get a spot on our list: Who would you give the spot to instead? I really don't see the harm in having him on the rookie list next year to see how he goes. We ain't gonna win a flag anytime soon without making at least some high risk/high reward moves ...

As they say, money can't buy happiness ... Hope he's doin alright though, I never wish hard times (outside of the football field) on any player.

Whatever ends up happening, I expect to see Steve May's name in there somewhere. He is everything our group needs in a leader.
  25. Bit of an overreaction from many on here. He never said Kozzie is as good as Cyril was at the same age. Just says hes doing similar things. And I reckon Jordy is in a better position than anyone here to make such comparisons. Calm your collective farms, and enjoy some favorable commentary from someone most of us here respect.
