Like most on here Nev is well respected and has Red and Blue though his veins and would love him to stay in some sort of coaching/mentoring role whilst playing as a depth player. Maybe skipper Casey and cover for the likes of Rivers , Lockhart etc.if they get injured.

For me it s Hannan V Fritta. Both vying for same spot. For me I'd take Fritta.

Improvement in Jacko's and Kozzies games. Could be real threats in 21. Midfield as a whole goes up another level. Look out opposition if this happens. Lever actually captures the form we got him for.

Well said. Very similar to the teams season. Had a chance and didn't make the most of it. Got the talent but never took advantage of it. I bloody hope we long suffering supporters get to be in a peaceful place soon. That aside wishing HB all the best. AND also our team.

He's not that good. Glad he chose Carlton and they can have him. If money is correct they will have more problems than fixes. Players will not be happy giving a back flanker who is injury prone and is not a star that sort of cash. Wait for the fall out from Carlton players.

Spot on being 4-6 players away from a good team. I have said many times we are let down by our bottom 4-6 players every week. The other 16-18 players who are as good as in any side just can't cover for them week in and week out. Our last 4-6 players and it doesn't matter who we pick, they are just not of AFL standard. Yesterday again we were let down by at least 6 players who could not get a touch and barely got any SC points. We need to get a more even spread of players and improve our bottom few. No need to go out and spend a fortune. Just improve our poorer players.

It is what it is people. All we can do is beat the Bombers by even a point and wait for Sunday to see if Freo can give us a miracle. Yes I would be happy to play the Eagles in Perth. At least we are in a final and anything can happen on the day. Before that we need to win and Freo to win. Go Dees and Dockers.

Not sure if you can read much into it but in today's training gallery (picture 10/14) on clubs website there seemed to be 2 different squads. One with Goody talking to in what appeared to be the team to play this week and whilst you can't see them all Jackson was in it.

Plus It's their coaches last game however if and a BIG IF, we can get a good start then they may throw the towel in. We need to hit the ground running early. A negative for me is it is on the GC and not at the Gabba where we play well. We do not play Metricon well.

Must have played a blinder in a scratch match somewhere in last few days. Got me beat. We have a shocking/pathetic forward line HOWEVER we have played well at the Gabba so there is some hope, maybe.

Rivers is the only kid deserving of a game. Why play kids when they are not up to it at the moment. You still need to pick best available. Let's hope these kids like Baker & Bedford can improve over the off season as they need to if wanting to play AFL
