Spot on HB. Most on here were singing the club's and BB's praises when we got him and now with a bit of fluid on knee they all panic and say WHY did we get him. Hard to work it out. Take it easy all and hope that the outcome is good and away we go with a potent forward line.

We have gone from boiled lollies to chocolates these past few days with training reports. Very much appreciated BBP and others.

India's 2nd eleven were to good for us but boy did we stuff up both up here in Brissie and in Sydney and I put is purely on the shoulders of the coach and captain. We bowled way to short and when we bowl that short stuff it is so hard to set a field. I was at the Gabba on first day and India hardly bowled a short ball. It is so much easier to skipper and place your field when bowlers instructed to pitch up and bowl on or outside off. Batters can only play through the arc and gives our bowlers a chance of the ball moving off the pitch. Hard for the pill to move when hits your end of pitch. Time to move on and perfect chance to make huge moves. I would keep ONLY Marnis, Smith, Cummins and Hazelwood and fill the other 7 spots with newbies.

Seems so P2J. Remember my old days in Melbourne at a local club in the eastern suburbs. One days training, normally Thursday night followed by heaps of drinks, be crook Friday and play well (sometimes) on the Saturday. Sure many of you did this.

Our bottom 5 whoever they may be need to improve and make us a good all round team. No use having our better players dominate when bottom 5 or so do nothing. That is where we move to a to 4 side

And that is what we need to do next season, start beating the top 4 sides throughout the season or at least 2 of them. About time we stood up and start knocking off the likes of the Tigers then make finals and win, win and win.

Agree. Most on here reckon The Weid is a champion which I have not seen. Maybe in the making but right now he will need to fight for his spot ( which is not a bad thing) and when plays must deliver or else, if TMac gets himself fit and firing I reckon he will be the other forward. I also repeat from my previous messages that he can also cover in defence thus allowing Lever to do what he does best.

Spot on. Looked a player and performed better than about 10 others that may, in many eyes on this forum be better players than him. I think he has a future with us and on the wing/midfield.

As with most of you very happy with this news and he can only improve us IF FIT. Now for TMac. If he does not get picked up I'd keep and play CHB, May FB and Lever to float as he does best. Lever is not a key position player so Tom back and also fit will, in my opinion make us even stronger.

Hope we are into him as he along with Brown and Smith will improve our chances next season big time. Also he can run through the mid field using his pace and skills to our advantage. Be very nice indeed to get all three.
