PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Agree. Only change required. Taylor, Heath, Bill & Jeffo need continuity and confidence will grow. TMac for Petty will do me. This team that ran out today whilst stuffed up a few times and skills need improving, you can't discount them having a huge crack. Also, Heath has to stay. 5-day break and Gawny needs some help.

My 3 word player analysis V Brisbane
Bloody oath he did. Harassed and was in a lot of contests which he halved. I would keep him in just for his own confidence.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Brisbane
Nothing to see here.

GAMEDAY: Rd 06 vs Brisbane
Yep. Three words sums up the difference in the teams. Skills, Skills, Skills. They're having a crack, but our skills are terrible plus a few players take short steps.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Brisbane
I am hoping for the best and a decent effort, but my gut says we may have to start tomorrow to be a chance.

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Brisbane
Yep. Have to agree. Hoping for the best but they bat very deep in the middle and our kids are just not up to it at moment plus our guys with 50 plus games are just not improving to be good/great players. Plenty of plodders.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Picket. You sometimes come out with some good stuff and the real issues. Bombers kids were that far in front of ours it was crazy. They also hunted the ball whereas a few of ours were a bit TIMID. Saw Lindsay, Langford, Windsor and L.Picket shirk it a few times. We covered a few cracks in last couple of games due to Gawn, Kozzie and Steele dominating. Whilst these 3 players were our best today, they weren't brilliant, so the others needed to front up but unfortunately, they couldn't or are not good enough. I hope King makes a statement after that game and ensures those that continually let us down are dropped.

POSTGAME: Rd 03 vs Carlton
Exactly Jibroni. Likewise, I nearly got on the computer at half time to vent my anger but decided not to as the guys were actually trying and having a crack. Just as well as I would have looked a fool like many on here.

NON-MFC: Round 03
The Cats had the umpires in their pocket, playing on own ground and Crows had a few of their best out. That tells me the farm boys are not very good.

The Bailey Humphrey Thread
What has he actually done to be so important to a few on here. Has not set the world on fire at all.

The Bailey Humphrey Thread
Concur Picket. The bloke is a fair bit off being a champion and why in hell would he want to come to us when we really don't have a home base or state of the art facilities. Only chance is if we win a bidding war but IMO I would rather go for two decent players that would beat one half decent player.

POSTGAME: Rd 02 vs Fremantle
I'm starting to get over this Kids thing. Other than L.Picket who is not up to AFL standard at moment, most of the others are into their 2nd or 3rd years and need to get up to speed. Freo had a younger list overall and belted us.

GAMEDAY: Rd 01 vs St. Kilda
With you on this Picket. Watched the Hawks game and their 2 rucks dominated and worked over the young ruck from Bombers. Would have been good for Gawn and Moose to work over TDK in similar fashion. This aside I reckon we will win this.

NON-MFC: Round 01
Tell the Crows that and yes, I picked them.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Well Picket I'm more than happy to have a great team man and upstanding citizen in Steele in our side and he will more than compensate for Clarry cracking the you know what and leaving.

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Not a bad idea at all. Casey has the grounds, not bad facilities I believe (what would I know from Qld) and really is only 45-60 minutes from the city. Look at the Lions winning the last 2 flags and train out in the bush around 40 minutes from Brisbane CBD. Would not cost much to get it up to elite standard. Hope Caulfield happens sooner than later but Casey could be a good option. Remember when I was living down there, Lilydale was in the bush where my Nan lived and now is basically an inner suburb.

MEMBERSHIP TALLY 2026
Play well in the praccy games, show the faithful the new, exciting game plan, win some early games and we will climb to 60k plus. Not great but still OK.

2026 Injury List
Not too sure about that Greg. JV, Trac and Clarry were not that good in the guts last year and this season we have Steele and KIDS who will show a bit of run and dare. Plus, we have Rivers, more of Kozzie and others to run through the middle. Bring it on I say. One door shuts and plenty opens. Be exciting.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 16th January 2026
Haven't heard much about Kalani White lately. Would be interested from the Track Watchers how he is performing at training. Cheers

2026 Pass Mark
I'm with you on this Neil. Reckon we will be smokeys and upset a few pundits who said we will be ordinary. If from what I read on DL King is going to let the players play with instinct and really looking forward to watching us on the Tele from up here in Qld. Play quick running footy and our youngsters will come out of there shells. They will benefit from not being scared to make a mistake. Exciting season coming me reckons.

2026 Australian Cricket Team Selectors vs 2025 MFC Team Selectors
Same old, same old.

2026 Breakout Players
No idea adonski other than a good mate of Laurie told my Grandson that King rates him. Maybe Goody was to set in his ways. Whilst Laurie may have faults (who doesn't) he was one of the better performers at Casey last season. Time will tell and, in my view, Laurie definitely has talent. Early preseason games will give us an indication on whether he is moving up the pecking order.

2026 Breakout Players
I'm going left field and many on here will have a cow, but I believe Bailey Laurie will show something this season. Have it on good account that King rates him and will be given a go early whereas Goody just ignored him.

Aidan Johnson
Have a Kit Kat Picket and it's time to put this [censored] about Oliver in the cupboard for good mate. Just get over it and look to the future which will be good watching a different game plan with the kids showing how it's done.
