What do the current Australian cricket team selectors and last year’s Dees’ selectors have in common?
Same old, same old.

2026 Breakout Players
No idea adonski other than a good mate of Laurie told my Grandson that King rates him. Maybe Goody was to set in his ways. Whilst Laurie may have faults (who doesn't) he was one of the better performers at Casey last season. Time will tell and, in my view, Laurie definitely has talent. Early preseason games will give us an indication on whether he is moving up the pecking order.

2026 Breakout Players
I'm going left field and many on here will have a cow, but I believe Bailey Laurie will show something this season. Have it on good account that King rates him and will be given a go early whereas Goody just ignored him.

Aidan Johnson
Have a Kit Kat Picket and it's time to put this [censored] about Oliver in the cupboard for good mate. Just get over it and look to the future which will be good watching a different game plan with the kids showing how it's done.

21st century Team Of The Century
It's everyone to their own bag but I would prefer Farmer in Frittas possie.

TRAINING GALLERY: Wednesday 3rd December 2025
One word. Fantastic.

AFLW: SF vs Adelaide
Well, I reckon North are getting closer to a loss and why not next week. They have not played teams that put pressure on and if we bring that manic pressure for the whole game there is no reason why we can't knock them off.

2026 AFL Fixture
Spirit. It is up to us as a club and of course ourselves as supporters to change this. Play good footy, supporters turn up and AFL will take notice. No one's fault but up to all of us to change. In meantime I'm comfortable watching us on Sunday afternoons in Qld at the beer o'clock time.

2026 Pre-Season Ladder Predictions
Not going to pick the ladder at this time but I have a sneaky feeling we will make the eight. The young fellas will be released to play their best under King and surprise many on here and outside.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Wish him well but I had to take him off my key ring.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Can't see where Dr. Gonzo said anywhere that he hates him. Just mentioned the facts of last few years. Can't deny that. Time to get over it as I have said prior you support the club not a player. I stayed true to the club when RDB left for the Baggers so how about we all again get behind the club as I reckon, we could be in for a good ride with the newbies and our excellent crop of youngsters.

Welcome to Demonland: Jack Steele
Yep, we have let go two past champions (emphasize past) who did not have one ounce of leadership in them and acted as spoilt brats and receive an outstanding person in Steele who is a leader (on and off the field) and will push and encourage our young mids to take over the mantle. Looking forward to what the future brings.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
In hindsight the long-term contract was poor however I support the MFC not any one player and will trust they know what they are doing with Oliver. Alot more than the so-called supporters on here.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
Very silly comment. 2019/20 were not that great but guess what happened in 21. We have some very good young talent and in my view it's upwards and you need to follow another side if you think differently. To many negative people around here. Stay on the horse or get off.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Yeah, I suppose all players will be leaving as they ALL will be meeting with King in next few days. Unbelievable what these Journo's get up to, and they actually get paid! With Oliver I can only assume that King will reiterate what his game plan looks like and where Oliver fits into that. Oliver has stated, through his agent he loves the club and wants to prove a point next season. Unless King actually tells him to move on, he is staying and will have a blinder with us next season.

Steven King interview SEN 2.10.2025
A quote from Bert Newton (slightly changed due to everyone being prim and proper). " I like the man". Took him 5 minutes to work out we need elite kickers with high skills which is what myself and many on here knew for a long while. Buckle up people. We are going on a nice ride upwards, I hope.

Farewell Judd McVee
I'm not bothered one little bit with him wanting to move back home. Prefer to have a list of players that are 100%committed to the Demons. Trust the club will fight for once on a decent return for him.

NON-MFC: Finals Week 03
Went a bit early eh picket!

Robbie Flower
He was truly a champion of the game. Everything said already is spot on and one I will add is that he never fell over. A sign of a great player. Mate of mine was the fitness guy in those days and went to just about every game and in the rooms after with my young son (who is now late 40's) and yes, we were [censored] for most of his career but was loyal to the Demons and happy to chat after a game. Brilliant, brilliant player on the wing when most teams had great wingers then in the backs.

Welcome to Demonland: Steven King
And me. Great choice and onwards and upwards from here and i Hope we stick it up the Wilson's etc.

Delistings 2025
With you on this but we are talking about the MFC who are very amateurish at best. Volunteers at local clubs do better than what we do unfortunately.

2025 Keith "Bluey" Truscott Trophy
Just watched Jones speak in announcing the young player and he struggled to get 2 words together. Love the bloke and how he played but gives me the shivers when speaking. Hope he can get the message across better as the mid coach!!

Delistings 2025
I'd be getting rid of most of the so-called AFL listed players who were pretty ordinary for Casey. Acknowledge some are for depth but boy you wouldn't want to have many,if any in your senior side. 15 listed players and they couldn't beat Frankston. Shows we lack decent depth.

Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
Happy with that.

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
He was just OK Dazzle but hence the reason I reckon we let Chocco go. His skills are shocking along with most of the players. JVR should have taken at least 5 pack marks when in front but just dropped the ball. Even his snap goal early he should have marked it. We need a skills/development coach ASAP so JVR and the others like Rivers, Sparrow, Howes etc. can work on their skills at the start of preseason and be ready big time for 26. Very disappointing season with the close losses which I put down purely to our lack of skill with ball in hand.
