POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast
Was there yesterday and agree with all that 1st quarter was unacceptable and really took us to start playing when GC relaxed a bit and we came home in the last. Couple of easy misses which if we had of converted could have pinched it but GC deserved the win. We currently have to many VFL standard players, but we need to keep playing the kids in this back end of the season and see if they improve and look like being decent AFL players in 26. Likewise, Jeffo and JVR need to play the last games together. One thing yesterday that disturbed me was the lack of effort by Fritta. I watched him closely when he was over the outer side where we sat and he did not impose himself on the game at all. I know he kicked a couple but when Petty went down, I expected him to exert himself into the game leading up etc. however all he did was point to the players up field who had the ball to kick it over his head to Jeffo or Melks. He stayed about 30 meters from the kicker on wing and did not lead or run back to give an option and help out the others. He looked like a player that did not want to get involved or hurt.

NON-MFC: Round 15
And Caddy. Two young forwards (19 & 20) that I've watched the last 2 nights that show forward craft, getting out back then leading forward plus the players up the field pass the ball to them well. Oh well, as Ghostwriter mentioned, maybe, could of etc.

AND he goes for marks with both hands!

Training Ground?
Yep, this thing needs to get moving soon otherwise we are cactus, and zero players will come to us.

PREGAME: Rd 1 6 vs Gold Coast
I would really like some players selected in the forward line that can at least chase, harass and tackle. Again, Petty and Fritta had no tackles but that is expected because they are unable or do not want to chase and put pressure on. It comes out of our forward line to easy unless Kozzy in in there. Don't know if Jeffo can put pressure on if unable to mark but we do need to try some different things. Petty, JVR, Melk and Fritta are slow and have no presence. Opposition just takes it out from them with ease.

Max Gawn shanks left - AGAIN
Hey, Roy Boy, you made one mistake in your statement. Quote "The best coaches in the land" Unquote. If we had the best coaches in the land our skills would be at AFL level not a suburban club.

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
And Dun Dee it is starting to occur to me that we are just not good enough. Older players are slow, and the kids are struggling. We have plenty of decent VFL players but not up to AFL standard. Need a huge cull at end of season.

GAMEDAY: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
We certainly have the dumbest players in the comp. They have no idea. It hasn't changed for years. Just kick it in hope plus handball in hope. Every time it gets in our forward line, they take it out so easily and more often results in a goal.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Great news and if only we can get a home organized I am sure more players will want to come and play with us and Kozzy. He has shown great faith in the club's future and loyalty. Couldn't be happier.

PREGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
With you on this. Gob smacked that JVR got a game in the first place. Has had ample chances and gives us nothing. His mate Petty was similar and whilst Fritta kicked 3 his efforts without the pill was ordinary at best and IMO probably lost us the game with blatant stupid decisions. Viney if fit for Langford who needs a rest and Jeffo for JVR plus if weather is OK play Campbell to give Gawn a break or if not throw Petty in the relief ruck role and toughen him up.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
As with most on here I also was pleased with the effort. Fantastic stuff but boy oh boy do we have a few Jim Carrey's out there on the field. Dumb and Dumber was the order of the day. Same old culprits it is sad to say, and you all know them. Yes, umpires didn't help but to get up there with the big clubs we have to play smarter footy and win these games then the AFL, media and umpires will show some respect, and we will win the 50/50 calls. Also, it seems to me that the young kids are starting to show signs of tiredness and are lacking zip. Maybe one or two of them need a rest.

Hughes and Grinter were choir boys?

The Alice Game
Exactly and the way we turned up to play wouldn't matter where we played the game we would have still got a beating. Team just didn't show enough fight and unfortunately it seems to be a bit of the norm after some good wins. Has happened many times over the years. They get us going and excited then let us down.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
That's the way I see it panning out. Sharp named in the 18 and with the bench Bill is the only one IMO that will be sub.

GAMEDAY: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Bloody hope so. He is my Super Coach Captain.

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
Well, we should be able to get this done easily as we have heaps of fringe players at Casey, but would any team want them?

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Along with most of you, Viney for either Sharp or Spargo would be my only change. Lever to play in the seconds again and be cherry ripe for the next game. Most likely Sharp out as he was the one Goody subbed out so appears Spargo stays.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
Mentioned at qtr time that our skills were terrible both by foot and hand and they were for the better part of first half and then improved a bit BUT you can't deny the effort and G & D put in by the team for the whole game. It was a pleasure to watch. Can't have perfect skills but eliminate the errors when no apparent pressure and this side can win many more games and push for a finals spot. Then who knows what can happen.

CASEY: Rd 08 vs Southport
Actually, just shows how poor our depth is. Having that many AFL listed players does not give me any confidence going forward. Need to delist about 10 of them but where do we get 10 picks from in the draft. Not a lot to look forward to.

100 odd AFL fantasy points at half time is not too shabby.

We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
Yep, we are on life support for sure at moment. Just cannot continue with 5/6 players not contributing. Understand that not all players on a given day perform to their best but of late our bottom 6 are giving us nothing and some of them are decent players and 21 premiership players. If unable to shine at least harass, tackle and play the team game.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Got no idea why Jefferson was even selected. We played one man down in the forward line with him there. He and concrete hands struggling big time but what an effort by the rest. Keep it up for another 30 minutes and the game is ours

PREGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Well, I hope we get the poor version as coming down from Brisbane with 2 Sons and Twin Grand Sons to watch first Anzac Eve game live. In fact, first time at G since our stirring win against the Cats in QF back whenever. Making it a Footy weekend as going to Magpies/Bombers then Saints/Lions before returning home Sunday. Trust the Demon faithful will be out in force tomorrow night and looking forward to a good win.

CASEY: Rd 04 vs UWS Giants
You're not wrong. These 2 are supposed to be our future. At least try and tackle. Throw in Fritta and Woey as doing next to nothing and our so-called AFL players would be lucky to get a kick in the local comp let alone VFL. We are in a world of pain.
