Who’s Playing Their Last Game In The Red & Blue tonight?
Happy with that.

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
He was just OK Dazzle but hence the reason I reckon we let Chocco go. His skills are shocking along with most of the players. JVR should have taken at least 5 pack marks when in front but just dropped the ball. Even his snap goal early he should have marked it. We need a skills/development coach ASAP so JVR and the others like Rivers, Sparrow, Howes etc. can work on their skills at the start of preseason and be ready big time for 26. Very disappointing season with the close losses which I put down purely to our lack of skill with ball in hand.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
I know the world has changed but back in my day playing if we had the AFL as it is now back then no one would be playing.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Honestly if they both want to go then let them. No use having players that are not invested. Let them dump kick the footy somewhere else.

Simon Goodwin Sacked
Another was the fact he will not miss driving to Casey. This is a big concern for us in obtaining a new coach and players. Our new home has to be announced soon or again we will be left with the dregs as far as recruiting is concerned.

PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
I honestly reckon we have a big chance in this game. Naughton in my view is a downhill skier and has shown in past when pressured goes to water. Darcy though is an issue. IMO it all comes down to the Mids. We win that battle and lessen the supply to Dogs forward line we will be right in it. Their backline is poor but so is our forward line. Win the middle and hope to hell a forward or two play out of their skin and we will have it.

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Spot on BBB. I mentioned at half time in the game day thread that it was the worst game I've seen all year. 2nd half was much better, and Petty actually got in front and held onto his marks. Much better half by him. All we need now is for concrete hands to start taking grabs (in 2 hands be nice) and have a good last few games to set him up for next year. All in all a good performance and hardly had a poor player.

GAMEDAY: Rd 21 vs West Coast
That first half would be the worst footy I have seen all year. We deserve to be where we are at as there is no system at all and when we are free, we just turn it over. JVR needs to get rid of those concrete hands or just stop playing footy as he looks way below the standard. Same with Petty. I suppose we have a half to get better.

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
What about Dermie. Just as bad. Can't stand the bloke.

GAMEDAY: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
We are playing well but when it goes near JVR and Petty it's just a straight turnover for the Saints. Those 2 need to lift big time in the 2nd half. I'll be the first to cheer when either of them take a pack mark.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Just shows how bad our skills are. We really need a good skills coach over the off season.

Trade Targets
Would you want to come to us and train all the way out at Casey albeit the facilities are OK. Need a home closer to the city then we may get some players wanting to come but that is many years away if at all.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Tongue in cheek but we need another 3 Kozzies so 2 can play mid and 2 forward. How good would that be. Seriously though we desperately need some speed, class and good decision makers. Any of those in the twos can come in but not sure we have them. If I was a selector about 10 would be dropped but it won't happen. May out so I'm going Petty in. Kolt has to go and in would be Billings whilst Sharp is not an AFL player and is out with either Bill or Spargo in. Would like to find spots for AJ, Howes and Campbell.

I would say he is a bit timid.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
We played a very ordinary side tonight and it just shows where we are at. We are a long way off and if players keep on missing targets and dropping chest marks like Jeffo and having a lumbering JVR in forward line we need a huge injection of quick smart skillful players from somewhere. Only thing we can do is keep playing the kids and see if they can improve themselves and help the side but I'm worried that none of them have any pace to break the lines.

Clarrys 200th
Give it a break Cranky. Clarry is definitely up there with the best of all time. I was around watching RBD and others you mentioned and not sure if you were but have a look at how the game was played back then. They also just bombed away.

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
I'm sorry but you can't drop TMac after his game last week. Would be a travesty of justice if Goody does.

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Gee I hope it's not that exciting and close. Not sure my old heart will take it.

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Like your ins Werridee however I would keep Windsor and give Lever a rest. He seems to me to be playing sore and can't move so he has a good rest with no game at Casey also. May for Lever with Rivers taking Sparrow's role (mid/fwd) and Howes taking Rivers role down back. Reckon we keep the kids playing until they are to sore to get up and also give Petty an extra week to get fully fit and healthy

POSTGAME: Rd 18 vs North Melbourne
I've been one of many on Fritta's back and justified with his efforts in the past few games but yesterday he got a bit of his mojo back playing up the ground and back which suits him. Played a very good, selfless game and a credit to him.

POSTGAME: Rd 16 vs Gold Coast
Was there yesterday and agree with all that 1st quarter was unacceptable and really took us to start playing when GC relaxed a bit and we came home in the last. Couple of easy misses which if we had of converted could have pinched it but GC deserved the win. We currently have to many VFL standard players, but we need to keep playing the kids in this back end of the season and see if they improve and look like being decent AFL players in 26. Likewise, Jeffo and JVR need to play the last games together. One thing yesterday that disturbed me was the lack of effort by Fritta. I watched him closely when he was over the outer side where we sat and he did not impose himself on the game at all. I know he kicked a couple but when Petty went down, I expected him to exert himself into the game leading up etc. however all he did was point to the players up field who had the ball to kick it over his head to Jeffo or Melks. He stayed about 30 meters from the kicker on wing and did not lead or run back to give an option and help out the others. He looked like a player that did not want to get involved or hurt.

NON-MFC: Round 15
And Caddy. Two young forwards (19 & 20) that I've watched the last 2 nights that show forward craft, getting out back then leading forward plus the players up the field pass the ball to them well. Oh well, as Ghostwriter mentioned, maybe, could of etc.
