Tomas Bugg Announces Retirement
Exactly. Some people can't help themselves, shooting off at the mouth without thinking. Bugg came to us when we were down. He gave his all and other than one incident was in my opinion a pretty good player. Wish him the best for the future and we move on.

Hunt Set to Reset
If my memory is correct it was BB, then playing in back line who went across Hudson's leg at Glenferrie Oval after he had kicked about 10 by half time and ended Hudson's career for a year or two .

Maroochydore Training Camp 2019
Your not wrong. They stuffed up big time last year and many of us QLanders (most ex Vics) voiced our dissatisfaction to the club. 3 Generations of this family will be there Saturday.

Demons Grand Plan for Yarra Park Training HQ
No way that will happen. The Lions have been training in crap facilities for years, Live up here and even where we are training in Maroochy is better than what Lions have. Also more seats in balance up here for election so that's where the money will be spent even though would love a facility for whole club in Melb.

Weids ready to grab opportunity with both hands
I hope so as we need him firing.

Training - Wednesday 16th January, 2019
Doubt it. I would err on the side of caution with him. To valuable a player to bring in early. Also I would throw him into Casey for a game or two first to ensure all is well.

Complacency is Dees Biggest Hurdle
Couldn't agree more. There will be some very good players not getting a game in round 1. In past we gifted ordinary players a game because we had no depth. Different now. Players will be fighting tooth and nail to get a game which augers well for us NOT getting complacent.

Anyone for cricket?
Our biggest problem is that we get starts and no one goes on with it. Those 20's and 30's need to go big for us to improve.

Casey Demons: 2019
Saw Buxton-Wales in a final at Bayswater (when down from Brissie for cats final) for Vermont against Sth Croydon and he looks a good type. Would not surprise if he gets a few games as a ruckman with Bradke in support. That is if Pruess plays ones.

Demons 7th ranked forward line
Lynch, Brown, Bradshaw plus Akka etc was a pretty good forward line IMO.

Dees List Envy of Competition
Agree on the Weid and your namesake needs to also break out. Hoping Petracca can get to that next level. Him and the Weid along with proven performers up forward will create hell for the opposition.

Training - Friday, 14th December, 2018
Must agree on KK. Top 10 pick and if over his injuries/head issues then he will be the recruit of the year in my opinion. Saw a couple of his early games on GC and he is all class with some grunt.

2018 Player Reviews: # 36 Jeff Garlett
I hope he pulls his finger out and has a ripper season. If he does we will be better for it.

New Major Sponsor - Jaguar CONFIRMED
Don't forget the U19's. Used to go to the GF in old days early watching first, the U19's then the 2's and of course the big one if still sober!

Pass Mark 2019
Top 4 with a real chance of finishing 1 or 2 plus a home prelim

2019 Fixture
Agree. NT has been good for us financially and last year even better winning both games. Correct me if I'm wrong but West Coast have never played at Alice so I take that as an advantage for us.

Daniel Menzel
Agree here DD and Menzel would be an upgrade on Garlett who has trouble tackling and Spargo who has trouble finding the ball.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Agree. Not sure about a once in a generation key forward. Big statement. My generation has seen the likes of McKenna, Hudson, Dunstall, Lockett etc who all would eat Hogan for Breakfast. He is gone and for me I barrack for MFC not JHFC. Let it go as when RBD left I'm sure not many or any MFC supporters changed to Carlton or for that fact the many Hawk supporters moved to Swans when Buddy left. I follow MFC not a player. Took a while to get over Watts and see what he has done at Port so let's just get over Hogan and focus on the team we have, which I believe will give us plenty of smiles in coming years.

Jason Taylor Resume
Exactly Wiseblood. Some of these posters get their ambitions mixed up with their capabilities. We have done VERY well in this trade period. People need to be reminded that Hogan was not invested in us and would most likely been a liability next year. Let him see what it is like playing at Freo. Make up your minds half way through the season. I suspect we will be well in front. We have got what we wanted and look to pick up some useful players in draft with now 2 early 2nd round picks

Delisting, Trade and FA discussion 2018
This to me is a win for us. 2 decent players in and a player in Hogan who would not have been committed next season if we knocked Freo back. Now we go forward in 19 to the next step and play off in GF whilst Hogan finishes bottom 4. It must be home factor and money for Hogan as I do not see the ball going to him enough to kick goals and boy if he sulked at times with us just watch him at Freo

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Concur. No way we trade Hogan for May. May would have made no difference whatsoever last Saturday as it was coming in at a rate of knots due to lack of forward and mid pressure. You could have had May, Rance and Lever and it would not have changed the result. Hogan is well liked by his team mates and I believe they would not be that happy if he goes and May comes in. Also May from what I hear at the Suns is not that well liked. I also do not rate him as a player or person and Hogan in my opinion (reiterate MY OPINION) has still plenty of upside.

1964 memories- calling our older supporters
I was a 12 year old and went to the G with a mate and his dad. All I can remember is we couldn't get into the Demon room after the game so snuck in the Maggies and saw the big Gabelich with a tallie of Melb bitter. Sticks out in my old mine like it was yesterday

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
He is bad news. Keep well away Dees!
