  1. 1,5 hours x 1200 x 8 = $I wish I was in that profession...
  2. Mmm, he did lead off with that, which is all about the doubt - so it makes sense he concludes with it - as that is all he really has.
  3. Following the report from Nick Bowen live whilst I wait a further 1.5 hours at an airport as some bloke tried to rip the door of a plane...ugh. Anyways, Gleeson sounds so so compelling, I can't fathom how either of them can not be suspended.
  4. Please explain how he is being 'rushed back'? This could be an infinite problem as in essence every week is potentially one week too early and can be seen as rushed back. Trust the medico's decision making.
  5. Fair comment @Farmer - I said that out of turn and tarring him with the same brush as Dank etc was not accurate.
  6. not a golf coach - most of them mean well but...
  7. With reference to the topic title... I do like that the foundations of Radelaide are less sound with McGovern now out.
  8. id be interested @Demon17to know what they discussed in particular about the psychology of goal kicking. I did just jump on sen online to get a link to it...no luck. FWIW - the anxiety around missing/judgement from others when I miss, always governs the 'safety behaviour'. This may look different for each individual. Typically though it looks like not kicking fully through the ball. This make sense as the brain is trying to 'guide' the ball through...and reduce discomfort whilst the action is occurring...however the short term relief increases in more stress because it means you're actually LESS likely to get the outcome that you are after...the goal. It'll be helpful for CP5 to be more willing to kick the ball as he would if he was confidence (smooth flow, kick fully) with the anxiety...and no doubt he is well aware of how [censored] he is going, thus amplifing the need to control the kick and other safety behaviours etc etc... and on the kicking yips goes, because he gets more evidence that he hasn't kicked one yet.
  9. I can envisage many chinese or aussie expats, looking forlornly into the broth noodles wishing that 'star' Steven May would play, just so they could justify skiiving of from their home duties and go to the game.
  10. Yes he is... AND he still doesnt mind the odd 2-3 flying punches that fail to connect with the ball at all (even when it's a 2 on 1 in our favour)... I don't know if this happened at Adelaide (presumably) but it looks god awful when that happens...
  11. Montgomery a few years ago... may have been end of season perhaps.... philosophical/ego differences from Bevo.
  12. I for one am amazed at the type of player that he is. And by that, not amazed overall at how good he is, but I thought he would be a brute force, stay in the 50m arc, monster defender type of guy...my, he is far far more evolved than that. I was fortunate to watch him up at the GABBA and the bloke has wheels - and THEN he shifts into midfield to tackle a guy who was 4 steps ahead of him. He is explosive with his pace... It's a nice surprise to have a talent who fits in with how the modern game is played.
  13. I was abroad at the time... in what way was this the case?
  14. i invite you to look at Weidermans ruthlessness in drawing a player so Charlie Spargo has time to at least set up for a goal (irrespective of outcome).
  15. I'm going in to bat for a broader understanding of a 'role' - so this is not even about Weiderman per se. @Franky_31 in your opinion, why is Weiderman being carried? What Should the stats for a reliveing ruckman come forward be, per game, in 2018? But also, the unseen , luring a player away to create space... (a new stat should the gang from champion data be purusing)
  16. Fine... Soft Jobe Watsons? Well he's an effing ch*@t
  17. I can't compete (or understand) with your use of acronyms. Bravo champ. I presume SJW was 'Soft John Wayne's?'
  18. Cool to have different views on a forum with respect to the ‘ severity of insult’ ‘‘twas only a flesh wound’ etc etc , less so being bigoted on a media format accessible by all and sundry. Guess it makes sense if Dubya is a homage to the bush clan.
  19. Do we know who these people are... in all seriousness. I am happy to write a letter to their management regarding all of that.
  20. @Wiseblood I really like how you approach things.. @Rusty Nails [censored] me to tears, and sometimes I can't believe supporters/members of the same team can have such polarising views over pretty much everything. Whether old mate' is being passive aggressive or not, he's just some keyboard warrior who snipes at the poster rather than the content... it may have been passive aggressive, it may not have been - and it may not even have been about you. Let his [censored] wash over you and try not to personalise something that may or may not be about you... god Im now sounding like a parent... " I guess I'm surprised" because you normally don't snap back, but i suppose you felt you hand enough!  :) take it easy pal.
