  1. Massaging us, to let us know it's on.... he filled a purpose at the time, and fit's better as an inside mid elsewhere, essendon, wb perhaps. Good luck to the bloke.
  2. The culture of trading is vastly different now in the AFL with free agency... Including: An openness to letting players who don't want to be at your club leave, rather than proving a point because you feel wounded that they want to leave. Letting all players that aren't your core 4/6 - explore options elsewhere All clubs are more open to trades that closely match what they are after - so operating with realism - vs the hardline stance that was abundant over the past few years and beyond. All parties, Clubs and Players, understand that every decision that is made, is driven by the commercial interests of that party. Both parties what remuneration that is fair and equitable. FWIW - it's hard to see May staying, whether he comes to the Dee's is another story...
  3. It was more the commentary around throwing their dumb chest at him... that sounded rather definitive.
  4. Because you're clairvoyant? Can you tell me next saturday's tattslotto numbers please
  5. @Macca can you explain to me the difference between 1 year to go and 2 years to go, and what that does, compared to end of contract and 1 year to go?
  6. For those packaging up KK and May, I would put KK as a seperate conversation to May as KK is not a required player from their perspective.
  7. I'm a left footer, and my father always said it was an advantage in my junior days... (which was true, in the way you naturally turn) alas i am late 30's and like a drink (cool story bro ?)
  8. My memory was that Roos played him forward for the entire year...not to test others out, but to ensure our back line could learn to play without him... it was so effing obvious from round 3....
  9. ive missed your input @grey wolf - however this post was far too prosaic for my liking
  10. Personally, I don't think he is pretty enough to fit into our culture...
  11. It's a fair point @rumpole in that change of language, and on reflection I would agree. Further to that, is how the MFC operate in the trading speculation process. Personally, I love that we operate the anthesis of North Melbourne, in that nothing comes out of the club until the media release.
  12. FFS - they've demonstrated numerous times over numerous years, that they are shrewd operators. You'd almost think supporters assume they don't know how to handle negotiations....
  13. that sounds salacious @Leoncelli_36
  14. the brave new world of the the player one year out from contract is in control
  15. So on the return match, will the members boo him, or applaud him ....
  16. That's a really fair analysis @Redleg AFL sanctioned of course...
  17. well, that's my point.? I'm totally cool on the go home factor, be it Hogan, be it VDB, whomever - it makes sense...it's disappointing if things transpire that way for whomever for the club, for supporters, and I still get it... But to do a Mitch Clarke...well, it just feels deceitful. (or a mal michael)....
  18. love it... what did you google to bring this up? or do you have an amazing love for mr bean?
  19. Which would suggest he is completely disgruntled and doesn't care where he goes (ie: its not the go home factor) or its only about coin.... that doesn't feel accurate at all....
  20. speculation staves off boredom though...
  21. In all sincerity @Mach5, thank you for being clear.
  22. Oh, I get it now... these major developments are happening, yet whilst you are aware of 'said' major developments as a third party, you are unwilling to obtain more information, but more than happy to let others know that you have some sort of information, that something, somewhere is occurring, at some stage. I wasn't expecting a media release, but assumed you would be posting, and was frothing for it...
  23. FWIW and I'm just one punter... Even though Jesse has a range of god given talents....I wonder whether he genuinely fits the system and culture that Goodwin really wants...
  24. Is evening from "6pm-9pm" or is it up to 11.59pm?
  25. bellingcat are on to you
