  1. Great name - hopefully we can bring in some quality, particularly someone with a Cracker Barrel, or become a Roquefort in defence, whilst allowing Hibberd and Lever a Brie(z) to sweep up the ground balls. I Camembert to wait til trade week.
  2. so like gaff then...?
  3. On a side note, didn't Neitz break his jaw on 'both' sides against West Coast one year?
  4. That's how I remember it too @Chook - I was in the middle of the Geelong Cheersquad too... even they had their hands up to their own jaws rubbing them after the replay(s)
  5. Good god, there is nothing in the article of substance...or even of interest...it's like a stream of consciousness on the topic of Jesse hypothetically moving merely because he is from Perth.
  6. not that I think he was ever required, however you can rule a line through dalhaus, he won't be at melbourne...
  7. For those that reckon Goodwin is an emotionless rock... check him out as he embraces Bernie.
  8. with all due respect... it could be true, it could not be true....either way, you work within the system that you have... so that narrative bores the hell out of me...
  9. that picture reminds me of this guy and my misspent youth ...
  10. I wasn’t sure where to put this. Assuming that we’ve made finals, and that we do play a genuinely attractive brand of football with some core players that people would watch, this means we will have greater exposure in marquee times - on tv- what/how much does this mean to the clubs revenue stream? and for those with knowledge far greater than mine, what sort of difference does Friday night fixtures mean in dollar terms per game? If indeed a figure can be given.
  11. I feel you are right @binman makes me salivate for 2019 onwards...
  12. yeah....but that's the same for every single player on the ground....every single one of them.
  13. my point was... ahhh...it was a double entendre
  14. do you prefer Oliver's suit buttoned up, or Gawn a bit more free flowing mate?
  15. judging by these picks, they're in...
  16. that'd be Lever then eh... he's the only one who's a monty for that length of time...second thoughts...could be straight from Hogan...
  17. I was thinking today, would Hogan have the clout (balls, ego) to say yes, with the proviso that Ross is not at the club...., not that it means Ross would leave before the end of his contract...but from an outsiders perspective (and having some links to inside intel)...generational schisms etc etc....
  18. Thread topic, sounds a bit presumptuous, conspiratorial and cynical... he will be in.
  19. wrong thread mate... you forgot to click on the red 'start a new topic' button... ?
  20. Nice article http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-08-28/frost-leaves-winter-behind-to-spring-into-finals
  21. cryptic Lynch I presume.. Hogan off to Freo - we get pick 5 and Brayshaw and ontrade 5 for Kelly... sounds pretty simple to me.
  22. Only Collingwood with, Grundy, Sidebottom and Pendlebury have 3 also wouldn't mind whitfield just quietly... 97Max GawnMELB 91Patrick CrippsCARL 88Tom MitchellHAW 82Brodie GrundyCOLL 72Dayne BeamsBL 72Jack MacraeWB 72Clayton OliverMELB 70Dustin MartinRICH 70Lachie WhitfieldGWS 68Dyson HeppellESS 67Shaun HigginsNMFC 65Andrew GaffWCE 65Rory LairdADEL 64Steele SidebottomCOLL 62Scott PendleburyCOLL 62Elliot YeoWCE 60Patrick DangerfieldGEEL 60Nat FyfeFRE 56Kane LambertRICH 54Angus BrayshawMELB
  23. It's interesting, I feel Josh and Co have done a great job since becoming the incumbents, in completely under the radar getting some coups... If it's not Gaff, quite frankly I have a sense based on past experience that the FD have got another ripper, who's good to go (no need for development) locked and loaded. A few folk have referenced an early season comment also from Josh, that they're aiming for perhaps 2 people... Again, my sense of the club, is they are very very measured with what they choose to say externally, thus I would imagine there will be 2 coming into the club... In my opinion as well - for those wondering about Hogan and trading... personally I'm not phased, however what is good for the cub is good for the club and if they were to get a player and a pick (assuming it is Hogan who sticks his hand up to leave) - then I would assume the pick that is picked up would definitely be on-traded to get said player of the two that Josh was referencing.
  24. Col, I live down on the Bellarine... you were referencing the dodgy parts of the area the other day... with the comment above, god knows what you got up to down here in your youth....
