MATCH PREVIEW AND TEAM SELECTION - Round 18
mate they're not that bad... i was in the outer with 2 geelong supporting mates for '187'... and one had the keys to the car for the lift home... those generalisations [censored] me a bit to be frank. plenty of kindly old ducks sit there knitting scarfs too... i was also there for - a draw (yze's specky and miller taking a kidney out of Lonergan) as well as '24' in enrights 300th - where the crown celebrated like they had won PRIOR to the game...weird weird stuff. prediction by a similar amount - 4 goals...either way.

Goodwin Presser 18/7
He is saying pragmatically, the more exposure to 'finals' pressure games the better we get at them... and that is only good for the playing list to 'learn' how to play and experience it directly. That's WTF he meant by that.

Gee he talks...it's just words...compete...it's do or die, bloody press conferences, where coaches spout inanities.. see ball get ball etc etc our time is now, no passengers, if we loose, it never really hurt them...

Round 17 Non MFC Games
ahhh, can't please some week to week - small things change for the individuals, the coaches, the systems and it becomes cumulative. how else can we account for such massive discrepancies in form lines between what are seemingly teams who are so far apart... bris/hawth, melbs/saints etc etc

Round 17 Non MFC Games
I assume there will be some inevitable posts re: 'how did we lose to port' - similarly those who thought the first half against the dogs were awful. To me - this game/ the cats loss, richmonds loss, hawthorn etc - shows how close the competition is, and how mere percentages 'off your game' or at times 'luck' means you win, or get smashed... It's elite sport, it's tough and the margins are always small... AND - I really like what Roos, Goodwin and PJ et al, are building towards...and it may not be 2018...
