  1. Some players are just injury prone and it seems to be skewed towards athletic types stangely

If you don't want the punch to miss l would send in Melksham
  3. Yes, but last year we were bundled out of the finals and finished outside the top 4 so not sure this season matters
  4. Im just happy we play norf twice
  5. Agree, he is coming off successive injuries/illnesses, start with a half in vfl and build up from there

That seems right, they also went out of business and didn't pay up l believe. Sponsorship seems to have been a last ditch effort to survive

iprimus, opel, and who could forget Energywatch

Two heads are better than one could be the moto ... just kidding
  9. Where did he play his footy as a junior before being drafted? Is a move forward possible in a few years given his attributes? What are the high level tactics / instructions they are given when kicking in and how much of that is guided by analytics? What does he do away from footy to relax? Where will he live post footy and what job would he like to do? Reason/s for our form drop at the back end of last year? Does he have a view on the voice vote?
  10. Yep, seems on reflection, he was behind alot of the drafting moves that we often gave Josh credit for
  11. What about the under ground kicks, starting to see a few of those also?
  12. Was expecting he would have beefed up his upper body if not by his 2nd club, then his 3rd club. Needs the extra kgs in my opinion. Apparently mfc asked him to also but can't see any evidance of it at training. His form in vfl late last year and now this year has been exceptional though. Good time to take a look at him.
  13. In the end it wasn't too different to a normal training session ... main difference was a couple of speaks at the start and they answered a few questions, free coffee if you wanted to line up long enough, and a bit more time for signatures. l am a 25 yr member, was hoping for something more 'inner sanctum' like to be honest. Richo said players wanted to catch the red eye from perth to get back quicker to fam after 3 recent road trips, they may sleep over next time l suspect. Kid seemed to surprise Richo with a kozzie question - standard line about all going in right direction
  14. Especially when it comes from Kate
  15. He was out there said he was feeling good coming back with concussion recently. Said it was his 4th concussion when l asked him, no lingering concerns though
  16. l like Oscar as he seems like a passionate guy with an air of self confidence ... hope he makes it ... at the same time can we change this thread to 'McVee & Laurie'
  17. Going a bit early cranky

Terrible decision to being him back on after his injury when the game was over already ... makes no sense and makes you wonder with all the monitoring they do why they can't make the decisions that matter most
  19. That's not the case, Riv for all his qualities isnt on a fat enough contact. If kozzie doesn't sign we get another player from somewhere like we did for Hogan, Jackson etc

I watched it live and we won by 63 points. Given others are having issues l watched it again and we still won by 63 points. Replay worked fine, not sure what the fuss is about 😉

I actually did a study of their membership base while a maths student at Swinburne uni (commissioned by the hawks) and they had a concentration of supporters in areas near Waverley park. lt wouldn't surprise me if that was the case for Dingley also. But l take your point about not being overly obsessed about the location

What movement? Its the same old we will update you soon just that it was delivered during what was probably a boozy lunch

So its a 27 min drive right now on the maps app from Flinders st to the Caulfield track, would be 40min plus at peak time l would suggest. Not central but obviously better than Casey, Moorabbin, Dingley, Tulla etc. Makes it hard to pop into training if your not already in the sth east, acknowledging many mfc supporters are

l don't class caulfield as being central, goschs paddack is central

Until its done its not done ... that's just the reality
