Kate Roffey Steps Down
11 years service in a high involvement volunteer role needs to be congratulated along with setting in motion a board renewel that will likely see Smith move in. The training base being the obvious negative and perhaps not addressing the C word

Dan Houston
Sinclair may go into midfield

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
Wondering if its designed to leave room for Smith to make an assessment of what he needs as Prez. Perhaps also shows the current boards willingness to do what is right for the club and move on if that's what is needed

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
The other one is employee and player satisfaction and that C word culture and lets not forget the training base... a review should answer all those issues

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
And yet despite the current board inviting interest from Smith, the media are suggesting its a challenge ... talk about twisting the facts

Christian Petracca
l hear that what got him over the line is that we are helping him launch a new line of Petracca branded pasta

Pert and Roffey - The Review Thread
I am not a fan of roffey for some time mostly due to the progress of the training base and her occasional self congratulating, but she said she has told trac she is happy to meet any time If trac doesn't want to talk then thats that The media then say she hasnt spoken to him and his family as if to say she hasn't tried. Its a pile on and that was always going to be the case because the media want to continue to benefit from this story

Garry Lyon for MFC President
He is not really a people person and definately don't want him picking our next coach

2 other board members have flipped and he has support of some key trainers and jockeys

Welcome to Demonland: Bayley Fritsch
he is a better prospect than taking pick 70 something in this years draft after you delist him if that was possible for example ... that's why he stays with mfc a little longer ... next year will be telling

Goodwin Gifts Daicos Brownlow
We all have pies friends that annoy us ... the last thing we want is a pies brownlow ... particularly one we assisted ... ANB should have been on him from the start and McVee on Hill ... very disappointing coaching

Trade Targets
Turner will be preferred with a another preseason but we need depth still and he will be on close to base. BBB will move on
- Harry Edwards

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
l think with another preseason Turner will be preferred over Tmac. Tmac will be a spare parts guy as Tomlinson is. Tomlinson may need to look elsewhere. BBB will need to retire. Schache will be another backup. Jeffersen can play the floating 3rd tall if he is ready like Gunston did in his prime

Can't be location surely. On most of their wages you go where the work is ... and how hard is it to buy or rent a place among the beach half way to Casey. Not all places along there have Brighton prices

Grand Final Entertainment
Needs to be music the whole public has heard before and can sing along to which her music tends to do more so than some other newer acts that don't always resonate with broader age groups. Aussie music can be there still as support but they typically don't have the same sorts of followings ... Roar fits the day

Tom Fullarton - back up ruck?
Short term l agree, medium term we have windsor and kolt

Tom Fullarton - back up ruck?
We are over analysing cheap moneyball trades that gave us some depth and allowed us to free up cash to retain our stars ... its more we failed to attract any players on out list that we we could class as being in our top 10 or 12 players which hurts ... but we didn't completely miss out as we kept picks that got Windsor and Kolt but they will unfortunately take time ... losing Jackson has left a hole
