yes, lots of talk of injury which you have confirmed but only 2 confirmed cases of surgery (one being a eye which l am reluctant to count). tmac hasnt played for ages so not counting him. every team has injuries l think its just hard to accept we might have just been really poor in the 2nd half of the year as goody has said already

I hear we were banged up. I recall we had a bye pre finals. I hear goody in the presser say all teams carry injuries and that we have been inconsistent for some time now. I recall our inconsistencies started some time ago and coincided with tmac getting injured and our forward structure not recovering sufficiently. I continue to listen with interest to reports of players having surgery, but as yet I have heard none.

Given we won away from home 100% of the time and lost at the G its hard to argue with. Equally, players seemed tired for periods in the 2nd half of games. They also appeared to have lost some hunger as the year dragged on and we had to expend so much energy playing against so many top 4/5 teams

There are a bunch of big clubs around WA and SA that also aren't Victorian as well. Odd. Winning the VICTORIAN FL by beating Southport isn't the same as beating Box Hill hawks for example. Its hard to get excited

Sorry, I keep my eyes firmly focussed on the Casey team and ignore most of the other VFL results, so who the hell are the Southport Sharks? My quick research suggests they aren't aligned to anyone. Would they be the next team to come in from QLD otherwise why do they even play in a Victorian league.
