im more reminded of 2007 than being hopeful of making finals. it feels like we have fallen off an absolute cliff. 5 wins out of our last 18 games testifies to this. i honestly dont see where we are getting a win from on current form.

We had 13 premiership players play on Saturday. Only 3 of them are over 30. This means 10 of them should be in or near enough to their prime. And it's not like Max, may and tmac are slouches. Fans only ever want to see effort. Repeat efforts. How many repeat gut busting efforts did you see on Saturday? 1? 2? Maybe?

TBH, it doesn't matter. We won't sack him during the season—the board stated as much when we were sacking coaches midseason because it is too destabilizing. Unfortunately, if we don't win this weekend, we are staring at being 0-4 to start the season, and with games ess and freo to follow, we could very well be 0-6 going into anzac eve. If that becomes 0-7, the vultures will be having a deserved field day.

we are 2 wins from our last 11 games. if you go back to when we beat geelong and then got pumped by freo its 5 wins from 17 games... thats bottom 4 territory and we very clearly should be better than that. however coaches dont make players miss targets from 20m, or throw an arm out instead of actually tackling.
