The main session 2 days before a game is utter stupidity. Anyone who's been for a run will tell you DOMS is at its highest 48 hours afterwards. Not that I expect these guys to be too sore but that would definitely slow them down 48 hours later. They need 3 sleeps not 2!

We had 13 premiership players play on Saturday. Only 3 of them are over 30. This means 10 of them should be in or near enough to their prime. And it's not like Max, may and tmac are slouches. Fans only ever want to see effort. Repeat efforts. How many repeat gut busting efforts did you see on Saturday? 1? 2? Maybe?

we were not on the cats level. we might have been on the hawks level but they were also gifted a period of draft compromise that definitely helped them.

lack of awareness comes down to talk. that tom mcdonald one was simply a lack of talk. no talk is a symptom of a wider problem in that if youre not prepared to talk to the ball carrier youre probably in your shell in survival mode.....ie look after myself and not the team. which i think is pretty obvious given the way we played on sunday. why were we in survival mode and not looking after the ball carrier? nfi.
