  1. lack of awareness comes down to talk. that tom mcdonald one was simply a lack of talk. no talk is a symptom of a wider problem in that if youre not prepared to talk to the ball carrier youre probably in your shell in survival mode.....ie look after myself and not the team. which i think is pretty obvious given the way we played on sunday. why were we in survival mode and not looking after the ball carrier? nfi.
  2. TBH, it doesn't matter. We won't sack him during the season—the board stated as much when we were sacking coaches midseason because it is too destabilizing. Unfortunately, if we don't win this weekend, we are staring at being 0-4 to start the season, and with games ess and freo to follow, we could very well be 0-6 going into anzac eve. If that becomes 0-7, the vultures will be having a deserved field day.
  3. we are in furious agreement
  4. we are 2 wins from our last 11 games. if you go back to when we beat geelong and then got pumped by freo its 5 wins from 17 games... thats bottom 4 territory and we very clearly should be better than that. however coaches dont make players miss targets from 20m, or throw an arm out instead of actually tackling.
  5. We were bad We are bad Take your pick
  6. We've won 2 of our last 11 games and 5 of our last 17.
  7. How many goals from turnovers have they had? Just from our bad skills??
  8. I mean it's a pretty clear conflict of interest if ever there was
  9. In fairness I've seen more effort put in by a teenager doing chores than essendon defending
  10. Bombers still have bad juju for their systematic doping regime and still being in denial
  11. Remember the time we had 1 free kick to 21 at half time v the Eagles in Perth? 😂😂
  12. Tipped the dogs. Am ropeable. Genuinely the fix was in last night. 5-18 free kicks in the 2nd half.
  13. About as wild to make a collingwood premiership player the MRO
  14. https://afltables.com/afl/teams/melbourne/allgames_tm.html#21 And despite the rain, Sunday arvo and the F1, still the 3rd highest attended game between the 2 clubs
  15. Nothing to do with horrendous conditions inc this morning that made my drive in from the country absolutely disgusting
  16. this is the most elite bait and switch weve ever pulled. focus on melb and kozzie? na jackson wants to come back. focus on freo and luke. bang.
  17. jamarrah UH could solve some problems...
  18. look, there is a certain appeal in living on the south coast there and being 20-30 minutes away from work/training etc. if i was on 600k that might be worth taking 10% off my contract for. but yes, its clearly stunk to high heaven for years
  19. i can think of at least one player who deserves to have their tyres slashed. not that i would condone such an action of course
  20. weatherzone has the forecast for sunday as 30C and 10-20mm of rain. super fun happy times
  21. If we beat gws next week we are well and truly on this year. They looked amazing
  22. Hawks looked good and it reminded me how much I hate them and how smug their fans are. I bet they'll all show up again now having disappeared into the ether for the last decade.
  23. swannies and pies are my tips. bleurrgg
  24. the thing with the footy maths is that at the start of the year its not taking into account returns from injury, trades, big preseasons etc. so getting trac and oliver at their best back into that team probably adds a win or two by itself...
