I literally just had a 45 min argument with one of my mates in the pub who still argues that essendon didn't test positive so they did nothing wrong and there's no proof they took banned drugs. He also thinks the WADA code is crap and doesn't relate to afl. This is the kind of people we are dealing with. I hope we smash them but im so worried we will lose. They are, forever, drug cheats. They still dont understand this. They call us tankers. Etc. Stuff them. We actually need everyone we can to come and support the dees. Show them the afl fan likes clean sport.

Id like to play an expansion club with no fans as it will mean the dees members will all get in. Id love to beat whoever has been dominant the years previous. Ie hawks now. Would prove we were the best. Id say essendon but iwant that club to rot in hell and win 8 games over the next 10 years.

Well the hawks have just won 3 in a row. My most hated fans, by the length of the straight and then some, are james hird worshipping drug cheat supporting essendon fans who then somehow have the gall to tell us that we wouldnt exist if it wasnt for all the money they bring to the afl.

The other thing that has changed is hope. Every club sells hope. Hope that your team can win the flag or make the finals. Nowdays we hope we might make finals... carlton fans hope they might make finals in a couple of years. This needs to change asap.

Afl to my mind is in serious trouble. Sure the dollars are rolling in in record numbers. But when clubs are stuck at the bottom of the ladder for years and years When those same clubs become feeder clubs for those perennially in the top 8 When the top 8 clubs dont need the draft because they just cherry pick the best players from the lower clubs When the afl pretty much supports drug cheating and will no doubt give essendon all the support in the world despite the fact that the entire club cheated the other 17 clubs When loud music etc become essential to the "pre game experience" When its not about the footy any more but about the entertainment When fans of competing clubs cant get into grand finals because the corporate types are there Well, its in a very sick place imho.

Re grounding- the education program starts at TAC cup under 16s. These players have been told "if it goes into your body, its on you" from the age of 15. It really isn't rocket science.
