I don’t think we could, not that I would anyway. We are not even allowed to give the seats away, especially if it is to an opposition club supporter.
-
There are many reserved seat holders that either don't use all their seats every week, for whatever reason, or are inside the member functions that they hold during the year. For instance, I have 6 Legends memberships but usually there are only 2 used, the other members of my family don't attend, for various reasons. If you have cancelled your reserved seat, I doubt you'll be able to get another one, they are really hard to get. Like many others I still haven't received my 2023 memberships and it's getting close.

Pell’s conviction was quashed by the Court of appeal 7 zero, so I’m not sure what you are on about there.
-
You don’t know that, in fact you’ve got no idea.

Not necessarily the announcement but the completion of the project after the negotiations are completed. There are several options and it will take some time to work out which is the most viable and affordable. Money has to come from several areas and it will involve Govt., AFL and our own money. Whilst the majority of Landers think the players hate travelling to Casey, that couldn't be further from the truth, it may have been, but isn't anymore, the current group are very happy with the facilities and they are soon to be improved.
-
For all those expecting a training ground will be announced soon forget it, it will be over 5 years away. There are a couple of sites we are looking at but in the short term, we will be housed at Casey and the facilities there are going to be upgraded, as are the current facilities at Olympic Park.

It was a jazz dance back in the day, I think it was called Opus.

If I remember correctly, there was a guy called Rigoni who was sitting in a pub having a beer with his mates when he was told he’d bee selected by the Dees, can’t recall how many games he went on to play.

If we are facing Covid restrictions again, and on form we probably are, then I'd have to say it could be a problem recruiting kids from Interstate, particularly WA. Life has been [censored] in Victoria over the last 3 years. These kids can see their mates living free and easy and it must be hard for them to have to miss out. I think that would have been a big part of LJ's decision to return. Lifestyle, restriction free, among his mates......

I watched the first half of the July 20/21 Dees v Doggies game yesterday and the Doggies had Schache playing in the backline and back up ruck, he spent a lot of the time matching up with Dogga. I'd have to say he eclipsed Dogga in the ruck and played a pretty useful game. He's got a good pair of hands, can take a grab and kick straight, which is a bonus. He may be a little light at 94K's but is a good height and looks more comfortable playing in a defensive role. As has been mentioned if he can free up Petty to go forward, that could solve a couple of problems.

It and that’s his family’s company.

Would it surprise you that some of the current members of the board are also financial backers of the club, does that make them liniment sniffers as well?
-
Ok then, so that's just your opinion, no basis of fact at all. Carry on.
-
What do you mean by that remark? No, I'm not and I've read some of this thread but far from all of it. I went into bat for Peter when he was running for a board, but he was unsuccessful and that's as far as my involvement went. I was unhappy the way the board went about the elections, and it's certainly a closed shop. Some of the members of the board have been there for a long time, they have to accept the bad as well as the good years, there were reasons we were bad, and they have to wear that. I don't normally get involved in club politics and I'm not going to get involved in this. And Lord Nev, do you want to get involved in the Face Palm saga again? You are on ignore and I can take that off and we can start again, if you want.
-
You sound like someone with an agenda, how are we to know that you are not a member of the current Board putting forward your view? Maybe your email address has been hacked again and this is not really you? I know Peter Lawrence and he is passionate in his support of the MFC and a big contributor to the finances of the club. BTW, if the MFC get hacked you could be in trouble again.

I've often thought that, he's a much better player than Mitch though. I've watched most of the Bullies/Swans match earlier this year and he played a very good game, 19 possessions to half time and hardly, if at all, wasted a possession. He kicked two deliveries in the first half that directly resulted in two marks and two goals. He's got a lot of talent and will be a great pick up for us, if he puts his mind to it.

Nibbler has a good football brain and would be well suited to this role. He keeps on reminding the other players to keep their mind on the job and stop the premature celebrations and to get back to their positions for the next forward entry. I was a little skeptical at first, but I think he can play as long as he can get a bit of guidance and I think it will be a contest between him and BBB, who is really a week-to-week proposition. We came back too early last year and by the finals a lot of the players were stuffed, and the side was riddled with injuries. I think the Jackson affair was a distraction as well and I'm expecting a much better year in 2023,
-
We will turn this kid in to a star. All he needs to do is show some intensity, he has all the tools now he has a decent workshop. 30 goals this year is my estimate.
-
Nearly shed a tear when I read this, it's like one of your sons leaving home.
-
I'd rather they don't make the finals, if they do let it be bottom 4 of the 8 and out the first week.
-
It wouldn’t surprise me if he gets more games next year, we had to teach him our game and de-St Kilda him. I’m not a great fan but, like all players, he needs confidence and how could anyone playing at St Kilda have any.
-
Rocket Rod Owen, great footballer but destroyed by his previous club. You need to read his story to understand how they mishandled him and ruined his life, we tried ti fit him but it was too late.
-
Sad to see him go but I guess it was the best thing for both parties. We’ve given hi, plenty of opportunities but he just couldn’t grasp them. Maybe if we played him for a season and told him he wouldn’t be dropped if he didn’t play well but we wanted him to improve and evolve over that time, but football isn’t like that. All the best Sam and I doubt there’d be many Dees supporters that wouldn’t wish you well, you’ll always be welcome back at the club.

Rankine said on radio this morning that he has dreamt of playing in a showdown since he was a kid. He was always going to go back.

Let's hope it is only temporary, you never know, thousands of Victorians left the State as well, not just footballers. Over the last three years we have been the worst State to live in, particularly our youth.
