MFC AGM
I thought that as you were doing an excellent job of answering questions on behalf of the Board you must be some sort of an insider, is that not the case?

Are you a spokesperson for the board, you seem to have the answers down pat? Perhaps you can answer this, how can a candidate get on the board when the president throws their weight behind the incumbents and almost refuses to recognise the challengers? Vlad would be impressed with that system.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I just watched the PF Dogs and Lions and we should have played the Lions, the umpiring, particularly in the last quarter was deplorable, not sure how many times the Doggies threw the ball and got away with it. Also with about a minute or so left McInerny got done for blocking in the ruck when he extended his knee but it didn't impact the other player and it was merely a "you shouldn't do that free". Speaking of Mcinerney, he was dominating the ruck and palming it down but in the last quarter he continually grabbed the ball out of the ruck and kicked it in to an opposition player, he was trying to win the game off his own boot. The Lions panicked in the last quarter and they lost all semblance of teamwork and were just hacking the ball forward, they should have won easily.

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Truth be known, Gus has probably received a starting offer for his next contract and thinks he should get some games under his belt to see if there is a better offer at the middle or end of the year. I can't see Gus leaving, he's popular with the other players and has some good friends at the club, plus why would you want to leave a club that is on the edge of greatness for a bit of extra cash that the government will take half of anyway.

POSTGAME: Practice Match vs North Melbourne
I think that in the GF the two goals kicked by Treloar in the second term were gifts, one by Salem and another by Petty, they were errant handballs under pressure. Even the best make mistakes when under pressure.

Yeah, Nah, he had his chance.

How many times have you watched the replay?
I've bought a stack to taker home, in your absence, I'll be eating them for weeks. Anything that's got pastry on it is really a health food.

How many times have you watched the replay?
I'm having a holiday down at Ocean Grove at the moment and I've been walking heaps in the morning (13.5ks today) so when I get home, completely knackered I watch one of the finals. Yesterday it was the Brisbane game the day before the Cats game and the day before that the Granny. Today, some random game during the year, maybe Essendon. Watching the Cats game I just can't understand how the Saints let Stanley go. The guy down here who owns the pie shop is a dees supporter

Angus Brayshaw Re-Signs Until 2028
Maybe he is waiting to get another flag under his belt and he will then have a stronger bargaining position. Plus the TPP may be increased and there will be more to spread round. The only player I could see him displacing in the midfield is Harmes, if he wants more midfield time.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I was watching the replay the other day, surprise surprise and one thing that stood out was how bad the Bullies outfit was. Ours look sharp and modern, theirs looks drab and old fashioned, that has to be the worst blue I've ever seen.

Scott: 2021 Cats/Dees Prelim Should've Been Postponed
You think it's funny when Cats get put down? That's a bit heartless, I happen to be a cat lover. Shame on you.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I watched the Dees V Bullies first round game on the weekend and I just can't believe just how good Clarry is, he just seems unstoppable. Weed played a fairly innocuous game but he did get his hands on the ball, he just could't hold his marks, if he had he would have had five or six goals.

Vale Laurie Mithen
As a youngster I recall Laurie having a few battles with Carlton's Laurie Kerr, they were both number 11 for their side and both centremen. Both very good players.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I was at Ceres yesterday, the other side of the mighty Merri Creek and again today, although I did at one point cross the border and had a coffee in a little coffee shop near the bottom of beavers road. Pity I didn't read this yesterday, I could do with a good dose of Smugness. You a Northcote boy or just happen to be there yesterday. I'm an old boy ex Northcote High when Ken Emselle was a prefect at the school and Normie Rowe was a pop idol. Those were the days, now the ovals where we used to kick the footy have been eaten up by buildings.

Extended contract for Simon Goodwin?
Gee it's hard to get the message to you, I didn't say he should get any particular time, I just said that the norm is 3 years and that's PROBABLY what he will get. If you really want to have an argument just go outside and yet at the moon, then when you don't get an answer yell again. But leave me out of your conversation.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
During the finals he got hit in the back of the head by Selwood and hit in the side of the head by Bont, both players seemingly apologised to him. They wouldn't have if they thought he was faking, they both knew that they had hit him and it was an instantaneous apology.

TRAINING: Friday 28th January 2022
As a matter of interest, you mentioned Chandler and said you had a bit of a look at him too, what were your thoughts, I watched that game and thought he was just a bee's away from getting a bit of the ball.

POSTGAME: GRAND FINAL vs Western Bulldogs
I wonder if supporters at other clubs have watched the replay of their side winning the GF as many times as the majority on here have? I watched it again yesterday and there's always something you see that you haven't noticed before.
