We need another experienced mid...urgently. Not happy to just take all the picks to the draft. Pick in the early 20's got us Vince last year, I think we need to get a similar deal across the line over the next 48 hours. Lumumba tied up in the Clark pick. Frost for a later pick or PSD. Salem, Toumpas, Viney etc to take a step up next season. Picks 2 and 3 to ease their way in via VFL.

Sounds like the Richmond medical uncovered the re-aggravation to me. Either we knew about it and kept it on the down low, or we didn't know about it. Either way, not a good look.

23 for 28 + Garlett 28 for Lumumba So basically, we would be turning 23 into Garlett and Lumumba. I would be happy with that.

Amazing how little the club leaks since PJ/Roos came in. I haven't heard Garlett's name mentioned at all in the last couple of months.

I actually rate Jeff Garlett and am pretty happy with this. At the cost of practically nothing anyway. One year a couple back I thought he is in the best 2 or 3 small forwards in the comp, obviously dropped off but worth the punt IMO. And god knows, we need a small forward.

Frawley's big strength in his AA year was his amazing strength and closing speed. He was just about unbeatable 1 on 1, either on the lead or in a wrestle. He lost this after that year though for whatever reason, and it remains to be seen if he can get that back.

Like his agility and movement in close as much as his supposed endurance. To those ITK, is he meant to be a nice kick? just his action looked a little odd to me in that short clip.

Apologies in advance for the juvenile comment but... Seeing Frawley in a Hawthorn jumper just reinforced to me that we have have one of the nicest jumpers in the league. Check out the mug on him. I honestly never noticed when he was in red and blue. No hiding in that abomination.

I am bracing for band 2. But hoping a deal was struck when the priority pick was declined.

Condolences to the family. A great of the game who stuck with this club throughout, even after retirement. And for me, that is the main reason he should go down as our favourite son of all time.
