I think anyone who follows football would agree with nearly everything in that article. i would like to see brown, ward, holland and jamar delisted. Keep the likes of CJ and Warnock, i think both, although not taking their chances yet, have shown glimpses that they may develop, and have a lot more to offer than the older fringe players. to toss up godfreys name is ridiculous. I am not the blokes biggest fan, but he has had his best year at the club.

this is getting ridiculous up here in qld. In the first 6 or 7 rounds, I was only able to view 2 and a half live melbourne games on free to air or foxtel due to doubling up of lions games. There was an article in the courier mail on saturday detailing that the problem has been solved and they were opening up 518(main event) when Lions games are on both free to air and fox, but they forgot to realise that up here, they prioritise swans games as well, and i had to wait til 8 again to watch a replay of a game i knew the result, when i also wanted to watch the soccer. Absolutely f*** :angry: ed

connelly didnt even get a single vote on the poll on this site. Yet he is favorite. Would be a travesty

dragging the ball in on friday night was a shocker...and i certainly dont think he has the skills to continue playing at this level... but he always gave his all, and i love any player who u can see hates losing so much (eg. robbo)and he was obviously shattered friday night...daniher was the the one who continued selecting him, all he could do was give his all, and he did. But it is time to move him on.

wat about miller? i think there is a big chance he will be traded. He is a brisbane boy and the lions could certainly use another big forward. If he plays well (???), he either saves his spot on the list or increases his trade value.

Since I am now living in Brissy, the only sandy games i see are on ABC2 or on a rare trip to melbourne. I seriuosly don't know much about newton, but i have noticed his selection is probably the main cause for discussion on this board. Would love to see wat the fuss is about against richmond. Also, I am half glad nieta misses some games, was not looking forward to a trip to adelaide for a twilight game from Brisbane for his 300th.
