  1. I am suprised this thread wasn't 'bumped' 2 weeks ago, if you know what I'm saying.
  2. As you said earlier rpfc, we were sold a talented kid with a bright future, and instead we received an instant gun.
  3. Everyone pepper Damien 'Fuckstick' Barrett on Twitter
  4. Pedo has become one of my favourites this year. And this time last year I honestly thought I was a better player than him. All of a sudden the Gysberts trade is a huge win.
  5. Effort and intensity have been better the last fortnight and today the performance came with it. If he plays with this effort and intensity every week he will have more good games than bad.
  6. Yyyyyyyeeeessssssss!!!!!!!!! How [censored] good!
  7. I miss Juice. Not many players have been discussed so heavily on Demonland. Went from cult hero who couldn't crack a game to whipping boy who just kept surviving on the list year after year. Good times.
  8. Bernie has been good, but still leaves me wanting more. He was so good in the first practice match against Richmond that I almost expect that each week, perhaps unreasonably.
  9. In saying that, let them play their way and they can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Really buzzing for today's game.
  10. Agree with the above. Richmond are a bunch of soft front runners. Hit them hard, deny them space and we are in it.
  11. It is hard not to like Bob Murphy. And as a footballer, there is hardly a better kick in the comp, he rarely turns it over even under pressure.
  12. The group sex article he did was a bit of a [censored] I thought, but this is interesting. So much would have applied to the MFC under Neeld and Bailey. Factions within the group, people playing for themselves, bad mouthing your own teammates up field, the handling of the media, and so on. Very interesting.
  13. Whoops, for some reason I thought we played essendon after the bye an they are looking average at the minute. Well make that one winnable game.
  14. And also, would love to see a stat on the number of times a player was tackled. I reckon Jack Viney would have broken some sort of record last night.
  15. Next couple are winnable if we are up to it. Big chance to make amends for this one that slipped away.
  16. When we reward ourselves for the periods where we are on top, we will start winning more games. We get on top and scrap a couple of goals in 20 minutes and cop a cheap one. The opposition get on top and put on 3 or 4 to zip. To be fair, better than previous years where we would have 7 or 8 kicked against us in quick succession.
  17. Shannon Byrnes has had three games on the trot in the ones and has floated between ordinary and completely hopeless. There are a few showing decent form at Casey so I will be stunned if he keeps his spot.
  18. That was the one that got away. Should have won that by 3 goals plus, but didn't have the quality to get it done. Still, the improvement is obvious, but still gutted we threw that one away.
  19. I thought the commentary was bit off, some players can definitely adjust and can get the ball heading the right direction, even if they are being tackled or pressured. Just because it wasn't and end over end drop punt doesn't mean it was a fluke.
  20. I am buzzing for Saturday night. Although I won't be underrating the doggies, they have been close over recent weeks.
  21. Dwayne Russell and Damien Barrett to repeatedly kick each other in the nuts. The two biggest hacks in footy commentary and journalism respectively. I actually find it amazingly frustrating that a dweeb like Barrett gets paid to talk and write footy when he knows far less about the game than the average punter.
  22. Love this. Let's give Jack a massive cheer when he gets his first (of 30+) touches on Saturday night. Must have been a tough week for him.
  23. They soon will if the game loses the toughness it was once known for.In saying that, I don't think players will change the way they play, they will be instructed to continue attacking the footy like Viney, and in 99.99% of occasions there won't be a freak series of events that lead to a broken jaw, so there will be no case to answer. Just really pisses me off that players consistently get one week or reprimands for the cheap little elbows that are deliberate, and then players like Viney and a few before him are rubbed out for longer for playing honest hard footy, and someone has accidentally been injured. It is bullshiit.
  24. Yeah, I have been thinking the same thing. Where did people want him to go, straight down the corridor? Correct decision, just woefully executed.
