Who should our next coach be?
Whilst I appreciate that their aging list is a couple of years further on since he left Hawthorn, my view is that Clarko was made to look better by Chris Fagan quietly keeping things in order in the background. I think they've been missing this since he left.

Completely agree! I also rate the Jack Watts sealer in the QB game, I had the whole southern stand behind us erupt. But 60K+ dees fans at a final all giving it heaps is hard to beat.- Two years ago...
Me and my boy were on level 1 at the 50, about 10 rows back. My son (14) yesterday rated this moment his #1 highlight with his dad in his life so far.- Top 5 home and away losses under Goodwin
2018 Prelim by a country mile- CHANGES: Rd 16 vs Fremantle
Looking at Jones despondent on the bench after his injury, I was more angry than sympathetic that he played at all given his quad injury a couple of weeks back. I hope it was all above board and thoroughly tested before picking him, rather than taking his word for it and then him playing dodgy in the hope of making 300 games (a la Viney a couple of years back).- Swans in Cairns for 2 days vs Demons less than 5 hours - why?
Everyone in QLD has been shaking their heads at Melbourne for a couple of months now. At least now it's Melbourne the footy club that is the focus of derision rather than the rest of us.- GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs Sydney

Thanks for passing this on DJ. I was hopeful we'd do this, worked well for the 4 day break in Adelaide for the Crows/Roos games. Hopefully we take several extras for the second game to rotate out some tired legs.- Josh Wagner back into the side

- Tom Lynch Incident (incl. Dimma vs The Ox)
I don't understand why there is angst on the thread around Wallis punching Green in the throat. Dusty does it every other week and only cops a fine, if anything. Hardwick has gone several rungs down the ladder in my estimation on this. He needed to point to all the media noise being a learning opportunity for Lynch who has played too close to the line and transgressed - rather than retaliating - and esp. getting personal. What a [censored]. He could learn a thing or two from Goody in this respect.- Favourite Dees
Most of the blokes who've worn the number 2 in the last 50 years.- Adams and Buckley praise AVB
Whilst I think AVB has shown genuine concern and represented both himself and the club beautifully, the collective response from Collingwood has been equally first class - firstly Mihocek's parents and now this from both Adams and Bucks. Rare example of the game looking after itself.- Josh Wagner back into the side
I was concerned reading the thread title that he had been announced as an inclusion. Blood pressure coming back to normal......- CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
He's gone. Literally.- CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
As they say, you donโt get a second chance to make a first impression- The Breaking of Nathan Jones
It is clear to me, and was the case on Sat night, that his leg speed is increasingly an issue. He did well in a couple of instances with his experience to anticipate where his opponent was moving towards and made tackles; but I would expect the club to look closely at games like this weekends with a faster opposition (IMO) as to whether heโs the right fit.- CHANGES: Rd 13 vs Bulldogs
And you think this would be an easy area to make some improvements that could be massive for us. Max is 60-90% likely to win the tap (dependent upon the nature of the bounce - even higher I'd suggest if it's thrown up). Have a 3 on 5 drill where we have to clear via the three through congestion.- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
- The 2020 Trade Period
I'd rather the media start providing balanced analysis of who we should be trading in vs trading out in order to make us better. Trade bait articles without balance are just fluff.- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood

Lyon reminds me of a parent coaching his sons team and being much harder on his son than everyone else (over compensating) I think he was also mindful last night that there is a lot more Collingwood supporters watching than dees supporters, and was trying to hose down how bad they were to minimise negative feedback- POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs Collingwood
