  1. I am lying down reading this but it isn’t helping
  2. Another 4 quarter effort like last week and we’ll get this done. Unless their score is larger than ours at the end (channeling @Ethan Tremblay)
  3. I don't understand why there is angst on the thread around Wallis punching Green in the throat. Dusty does it every other week and only cops a fine, if anything. Hardwick has gone several rungs down the ladder in my estimation on this. He needed to point to all the media noise being a learning opportunity for Lynch who has played too close to the line and transgressed - rather than retaliating - and esp. getting personal. What a [censored]. He could learn a thing or two from Goody in this respect.
  4. Most of the blokes who've worn the number 2 in the last 50 years.
  5. Whilst I think AVB has shown genuine concern and represented both himself and the club beautifully, the collective response from Collingwood has been equally first class - firstly Mihocek's parents and now this from both Adams and Bucks. Rare example of the game looking after itself.
  6. I was concerned reading the thread title that he had been announced as an inclusion. Blood pressure coming back to normal......
  7. He's gone. Literally.
  8. As they say, you don’t get a second chance to make a first impression
  9. It is clear to me, and was the case on Sat night, that his leg speed is increasingly an issue. He did well in a couple of instances with his experience to anticipate where his opponent was moving towards and made tackles; but I would expect the club to look closely at games like this weekends with a faster opposition (IMO) as to whether he’s the right fit.
  10. And you think this would be an easy area to make some improvements that could be massive for us. Max is 60-90% likely to win the tap (dependent upon the nature of the bounce - even higher I'd suggest if it's thrown up). Have a 3 on 5 drill where we have to clear via the three through congestion.
  11. I'd like to know if there was a free kick paid for Spargo's Dangerous Tackle. If it wasn't paid/deemed dangerous on the night, not sure how it can be deemed dangerous two days later.
  12. I'd rather the media start providing balanced analysis of who we should be trading in vs trading out in order to make us better. Trade bait articles without balance are just fluff.
  13. Special shout out to Langdon for attempting not 1 but 2 handball receives from out of bounds on the wing. Thoroughly entertaining, haven’t laughed that heartily on a football related action in a long time. Loving him in the side.
  14. Lyon reminds me of a parent coaching his sons team and being much harder on his son than everyone else (over compensating) I think he was also mindful last night that there is a lot more Collingwood supporters watching than dees supporters, and was trying to hose down how bad they were to minimise negative feedback
  15. Hopefully somebody got on us for a 40+ point win for $14 odds with Sportsbet.
  16. I didn't think he was at his worst, but there were a couple of turnovers that didn't help - the no look handpass to Grundy for the goal wasn't great but nor did he drop his head either. Our backline is just looking really solid right now.
  17. And kicking 16 goals 4 in the wet is normally something we're on the receiving end of.....great composure.
  18. What a difference it makes having Weid in the forward 50 clunking marks.
  19. I'm going to need a covid test tomorrow for the sore throat symptoms. That was ace. I'm going to watch the replay for kozzies kick out of mid air in the first that went 60+m, Melksham's kick out of the air in the 2nd for a goal. Langdon was an absolute ripper. But gees we did miss Max, didn't we?
  20. I'm guessing he was factoring in 2 mins to take off his socks
  21. Thks for this Adam, ripper video loved the tackle on J Cameron, and who could forget the goal to win vs dons. Hopefully he has a blinder for his milestone game
  22. That’s what I call a good leading pattern
  23. We haven’t had a 4 quarter effort all year Good day to start
  24. Agreed. Nev quite rightly is highly respected on here and by the club, and has designed another ripper of a jumper for our mob. It’s great the names of the indigenous boys that have played for us is recognised, I’d also love it if the club could publish a translation of what’s written on the front.
