  1. One extra per nut. I remember Brendan McCartney's advice to Clarry on his debut was "keep it simple. See ball, get ball." Maybe the Suns coaching assistants preach the same mantra.
  2. Max's Millions.
  3. Looking at Brisbane and Port remaining games, I reckon we need to win 3 of the last 4 to finish 2nd. I think all three of Port, Brisbane and us will finish level on points, but we should improve our % sufficiently playing Kangaroos and Hawks to take 2nd. I hope we beat Carlton because I'm less confident with how we play the SCG.
  4. I reckon I'd be no less frustrated if I had just read "the umpire was a *smiling* [censored]"
  5. Nah - Geelong win, we're past Port on the ladder and Geelong still in trouble with games to come v Pies, Saints and Dogs. Geelong lose and I reckon the Giants will knock Port off the next week so likely a win-win scenario anyway.
  6. Clarry at least another week away according to Goody’s presser. Highly likely for Carlton game it sounded like
  7. It's a shame they didn't set the crowds on fire.
  8. Yazz - the only way is up.....BABY
  9. One of my favourite Weg premiership poster pictures......
  10. Not making light of a tragic event, but I read this banner on the below news.com article about 10 times and I still can't work it out. Pretty poor quality control. AI journalism is alive and well I suspect.
  11. Serious question Dunstan v Harmes - can Dunstan tag?
  12. If he really was lazy, he wouldn’t have spelt his name with any more letters than was absolutely necessary
  13. Loved Kossie’s game. Smith has done too much in the last 2 weeks to be substitute, but he’s a shoe in for sub if he doesn’t play. That was one of Maysies worst games ever.
  14. That they didnt have the ball?
  15. Kossie started strongly, I like seeing him up the ground a bit more; getting amongst it.
  16. Fondly remember the image of Treloar sitting on the bench in 4th qtr of the 21 GF looking like someone shot his dog
  17. 2 after this year
  18. Maybe bub, but I guess I’m saying you’ve got a list of roughly 45 that the senior coach needs to nicest his time into each week.IMHO, he should split the list into top 15 players, middle 15 players and bottom 15 players. The bottom 15 players are exclusively VFL, the top 15 players will never get dropped bar injury, and the middle 15 players are the group that Goody should spend 3x the amount of time with over the other two.
  19. Agreed Adam, but this is the pointy end of the retention dilemma - he is the 23rd/24th player and we’ve got to have ongoing focus on looking after our best depth or we become weaker as a result. Mistake might not be quite the right descriptor, but we need JJ to feel in an ongoing sense that the FD’s development of him and his opportunities to play are better than a full time role in an inferior team.
  20. We need 26-30 really good players to win a flag, losing JJ would be a massive mistake. He was next cab off the rank in our winning GF team. Our club has been brilliant at identification and attraction of talent, if they can capably navigate retention of top drawer depth then we’re in very good shape
  21. Clicking like on this felt like I was signing a petition to get him in
  22. I felt sorrier for the [censored] wearing blonde wigs and looking stupid as well as disappointed.
  23. If the Lions didn’t have a complex about trying to win at the G, I reckon they do now
  24. That’s an odd thing for a Biggie to say
