I’d like to see this Adam, but not sure the SCG is big enough for multiple points of entry into F50 to warrant three marking options (I think we need to go 2 with 4 crumbers). I’m not even sure it’s a good dress rehearsal, because of the size of the ground. Good opponent though.

I’m struggling with Gil throwing the goal umpire under the bus for a mistake rather than reviewing how the AFL can fix a potential future recurrence by amending the review system (procedures for initiating a review, quality of the review footage) to look after both the teams, the umpires and the paying members/supporters. It’s just lazy management, asleep at the wheel.

It’s my hope/belief daz that Goody is trying to keep a few aces up his sleeve for finals and we’ll see a bit more of him in the guts when it matters. That said, he threw Petty forward against Brisbane in the finals last year when it was already too late, so what would I know.

When Joel Smith is taking a shot at goal from the pocket/boundary, I have every confidence he’s not going to miss. He’s a lovely set shot

Better than ok I thought. I was looking for reasons to drop him, but thought he showed confidence, some nice evasive skills with ball in hand and good foot skills. I’d like another look at him.
