  1. You’d think so vs the pies
  2. Dees have published their 2023 finals video - possessed. Nice. https://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/1417910/this-september-the-demons-are-possessed-finals-2023
  3. Fortunately no apparent concussions today, bring on the pies anywhere*, anytime * as long as it's the G.
  4. You might want to check joeboy's thread. He's doing overtime on holidays and hasn't missed a beat (except for his assessment of Laurie).
  5. I know we're on the front foot with respect to anti-gambling, but with performance like that we should really be at the casino as part of our developing our future fund kitty for the new facility.
  6. Especially after missing out on the 21GF side
  7. Agreed. I thought he was an odd choice for sub, but did a great job when called on.
  8. No goals, 7 disposals, 5 tackles, 3 marks, 206 metres gained. I thought he did well today, applying pressure. Bit tough to measure a crowded forward line on the small SCG. But I am a bit of an optimist and barrack for all of them.
  9. Bit tough on Bill Laurie who came on late in the third and had 9 touches (4 contested), 2 inside 50's and 4 score assists.
  10. Held Sydney to 56 points and 2 pts in the last quarter. Seriously impressive. #contest_and_defence
  11. I reckon this sums it up perfectly
  12. Gees I was worried when Fritta was off with his foot, Milkshake with his knee, and Bowey with his shoulder - I thought our resurgent forward line was looking a bit shaky and the last thing we needed was an injury. Fingers, legs, arms crossed for Melksham. I loved the look of our forward line with JVR, Smith, Melksham, Fritta supported by Chandler and Kossie and cameos from Trac and the poor kicking for goal backline (Rivo and Maysie, you know who I'm referring to). What a game from Fritta first game back. Nice to see Gawny, Trac, Clarry and Fritta on the bench in the last. Not so nice for Salo who copped one and was looking to come off. Great win, I didn't think we'd do anywhere near that well. Bring on the pies.
  13. I’m liking the forward line setup. Not so much Rivo and Maysie taking shots for goal! Does anyone else reckon Rivo looks like Adam Ant with his sunscreen?
  14. Sounds like an alternative death ride
  15. And a very nasty rash
  16. I remember the good old days fondly when H&A rounds ended and this was my favourite thread
  17. You’d be happy then Goffy?
  18. But somehow do this without losing. Will a draw do?
  19. Pies have lost 3 and won 2 in the last 5. The 2 wins were Port by 2 and a pretty [censored] Geelong by 8. They’re not in a form line where you’d drop a game to get Port instead of the dees. That would be the first act of a straight sets exit
  20. Great news. Delighted for goody and all of us. No surprise this was announced after a win locking in top 4 on the cusp of finals as opposed to after the GWS game in Alice after we kicked 5.15 from 75 i50 entries (worst conversion since stats ever) and lost by 2 points.😁
  21. Did Ben Brown play in Alice Springs?
  22. That’s just [censored]
  23. I reckon Blakey on Jake would be a match up worth seeing Binny Jnr.
  24. He’s got a rich pup?
