  1. The big 4. And Essendon
  2. I thought the umpiring let a lot go both ways. Paying the mark for a mark in the third row of level 1 got me started and then it was the ducking. I thought we got a few marks paid that weren’t 15m (not a free, I know, but we got away with a few). Free kicks ultimately even, or we were +1. But I guess if you’re a power fan you expect to win the free kick count by at least +10 at home, so rightfully [censored] off with the umpiring.
  3. Gee DL is an enjoyable read with a coffee this morning 😁
  4. Ken Hinkley in his presser: The quality of their execution was off the charts
  5. Whenever our backs were against the wall and we needed a goal, we just seemed to find one. Kicking for goal was massive tonight. And make no mistake, 5-2 to 3-3 in the last qtr was just superior fitness. The game really opened up with 10 mins to go. So many huge performances. Nibbler, take a bow.
  6. Well done to everyone going to the game tonight. Pretty ground to watch the game as is the walk over the bridge to the ground. Wish I was there with you, putting those feral Port fans out of their misery when we pump them.
  7. And that tackle to Mav Weller in the Jack Viney made me cry thread - should have been in the package.... http://www.afl.com.au/video/2015-06-14/viney-slams-weller-in-fierce-tackle
  8. You can add me to the "Jack Viney made me cry" thread - one or two tears after watching that. I know Jack will play his 200th the same as his first 199 - there is just no other way.
  9. Gabba sold out some time ago according to my pies supporting mate from Brisbane. Should be a good game. Except for the country roads song
  10. This might have occurred as a result of him pulling his finger out. I'll show myself out.
  11. Sounds like he injured his hand at training rather than carrying the injury from the weekend
  12. Great summary Jack, as ever. I did have to look up peripatetic. 3-1 would be an excellent start to the season. Congrats to Viney on his 200th.
  13. Lever may and May may not.
  14. Loving your insights @Webber, really gives additional confidence on club/other feedback. Thanks very much!
  15. I noticed the experts at Fox predicted the pies to finish the H&A season 20-3. That hasn’t aged well.
  16. AFL would be delighted I'm sure that 8 of the top 10 players from interstate clubs.
  17. I thought Chandler's first goal on the weekend might have been just beyond his range, just outside 50; but he made the distance quite easily. Never happier to be wrong!
  18. I learned my lesson by going early on Kate Middleton.
  19. It could be either: (a) the club got an excellent rate on hotel rooms for the week, saving money given Adelaide hotel prices for Gather Round (b) to effectively deal with jet lag (c) to allow time for a barossa valley tour (d) all of the above
  20. I know kev suggested Smacca would be back likely Anzac Eve, but I'd love to see him debut against the Crows and kick a bag.
  21. Not a Dees player, but I reckon Trent Cotchin. A sniper with immaculate hair.
  22. But he didn’t have to play for the next 20 weeks in a row afterwards
  23. Nice on Fritta - loved it when he outbodied Sicily to mark and goal in the last qtr, who went down like a sack of spuds
