  1. Not making light of a tragic event, but I read this banner on the below news.com article about 10 times and I still can't work it out. Pretty poor quality control. AI journalism is alive and well I suspect.
  2. Serious question Dunstan v Harmes - can Dunstan tag?
  3. If he really was lazy, he wouldn’t have spelt his name with any more letters than was absolutely necessary
  4. Loved Kossie’s game. Smith has done too much in the last 2 weeks to be substitute, but he’s a shoe in for sub if he doesn’t play. That was one of Maysies worst games ever.
  5. That they didnt have the ball?
  6. Kossie started strongly, I like seeing him up the ground a bit more; getting amongst it.
  7. Fondly remember the image of Treloar sitting on the bench in 4th qtr of the 21 GF looking like someone shot his dog
  8. 2 after this year
  9. Maybe bub, but I guess I’m saying you’ve got a list of roughly 45 that the senior coach needs to nicest his time into each week.IMHO, he should split the list into top 15 players, middle 15 players and bottom 15 players. The bottom 15 players are exclusively VFL, the top 15 players will never get dropped bar injury, and the middle 15 players are the group that Goody should spend 3x the amount of time with over the other two.
  10. Agreed Adam, but this is the pointy end of the retention dilemma - he is the 23rd/24th player and we’ve got to have ongoing focus on looking after our best depth or we become weaker as a result. Mistake might not be quite the right descriptor, but we need JJ to feel in an ongoing sense that the FD’s development of him and his opportunities to play are better than a full time role in an inferior team.
  11. We need 26-30 really good players to win a flag, losing JJ would be a massive mistake. He was next cab off the rank in our winning GF team. Our club has been brilliant at identification and attraction of talent, if they can capably navigate retention of top drawer depth then we’re in very good shape
  12. Clicking like on this felt like I was signing a petition to get him in
  13. I felt sorrier for the [censored] wearing blonde wigs and looking stupid as well as disappointed.
  14. If the Lions didn’t have a complex about trying to win at the G, I reckon they do now
  15. That’s an odd thing for a Biggie to say
  16. But it would have been a great opportunity to throw the coin at him as hard as she could
  17. I thought you were going to go with “he’ll get the suns shining”
  18. My problem with the online betting platforms is how easy it is to get access to the kids and get them hooked. Walking from the station to the ground on my last trip to the G, my boy and I were behind a group of high school aged kids who were bragging about their status in a 9 leg multi. It was quite alarming. We try to make it hard for kids to access vices that can impact their development until they’re old enough to make responsible decisions, but this for me is a significant gap needing closing.
  19. You’re fast becoming the new Wiseblood Adam with qualified optimism like this
  20. Haven’t been keeping up with the news, is Clarry far off a game?
  21. Agree with all of this. Especially the bit that Tomo was a bit stiff.
  22. I resemble that remark. I’ll leave it up to you to guess which one
  23. They all played before champion data became a thing
  24. Suns having a very off day but still tracking towards being a decent footy team. Reminds me of us circa 2016. Pumping up the bluebaggers tyres is folly.
