Seems to be a bit of contraditory info out there. All i know is we have a minimum two year contract, and camp A says it can't be front loaded and has to be x amount of dollars over 2 years and camp B says it can be something ridiculous like 1.5mil 1 year, 100k 2nd year. Or even 2.4 million for 2 years, and then 200k/year in a new contract offer in 2021 for years 3 and 4 "A player (other than a first-year draft choice or a second-year player) may specify in the nomination form the football payments he will require over two years if selected at a Draft Selection Meeting."

Dan Menzel mustn't be happy with this change of strategy.

He was dropped after kicking 9 goals in 3 games on two seperate occasions. Rumours around him leaking stories to the media and some kind of verbal fight with Pyke would explain being dropped while in form. The club is a rabble.

He started his career as a 23 year old in 2012, so hopefully that bodes well for his longevity next year as a 31 year old forward, should we pick him up cheap as chips

Edit: Not trying to disparage O'Brien. Just that other clubs are making plays on big key forwards, even a year out, and we're looking to feed on all of their off cuts. Bloody hope Tmac & Weid step up this year.
