  1. We've got a few of them already, and they don't kick goals. I think we should keep someone that has a talent for excelling in one specialized area and not in a few others and just deal with it ie Keep someone who kicks goals. I recall 3 years ago, most people on this forum laughed at the idea of bringing in a player/s like brad Hill, and the comment was always the same "Too many uncontested possessions" or "Too soft"- 80% of BH's possessions are uncontested and he's the exact type of player that would fill the hole we've dug ourselves in for ignoring these types of players that offer speed and spread. Players like Garlett, that have a talent in one specialized area, but deficiencies in another. We've conceded that we need outside runners and not just inside bulls. Why can't we concede that we need natural goal kickers and not just defensive pressure forwards?
  2. I'd take the nightclub brawling & injury prone elite x factor Bennel over the nightclub sexual assaulting & seniors omission prone inside mid
  3. I'd back WCE to win in a do-or-die final the 2nd time around, but there would have to be some psychological factor with an immediate follow up game that would sew some doubt. As for the psy-factor last year, well they would've been confident knowing Kennedy and Darling would actually be on the field in the prelim and playing for a GF or top 4 is different to having two games to lock in top 2 with just 1 win needed and 5win Brisbane to come the following week.
  4. The Hawks could even get a double up game against the Eagles. The Eagles would be spooked with that matchup now, which would be amazing, given they'd be confident against every other club at home.
  5. The bagging of Scott Thompson and Ben Brown on here is embarrassing. If only we had them both running around for us this past decade?
  6. The term "Bounce back" is more apt. The implication being the club will think the force of the fall automatically propels us back upwards and the happy clappers will think we just need to have no preseason surgeries and right she goes. [Insert Jack Viney (Our leader) talk about many learnings, but have no clue what's gone wrong here]
  7. Jamie Elliot would be decent, given he's only given 1 year contract last year and their cap might be stretched. Although buyer beware if Bucks puts him on the trade table (injuries), would have to be a stealth offer to usurp them and good enough dosh to get him to leave a current finals contender..
  8. Easy to dismiss a trade idea, but who would you realistically target instead? Or go into next year unchanged up forward?
  9. Ah yes, the disappointment of going from being a 2 win team to a 10 win team.
  10. Any whispers on JJ OR another KPF target to provide a foil for Tmac? Or will we risk 2020 with the same forward line and become an absolute shambles again with an injury or two? Kicked 9 goals in the 3 games before he was dropped again. 22 goals in 11 games while being on the outer of the club, a marked man for leaking stories about how much of a rabble the club is internally.Would've kicked 40 for the 6th season in a row with a full season. 4 goals from 300. And still the usual snobs in here will throw up the 'goals out the back' & 'jane in a tarzans body' lazy throwaway lines that fly in the face of the consistent stats. Tmac, Jenkins, Petty & Weid should be fighting for those two or three spots, now that Tim Smith and probably Keilty are gone. I'll go with the opinion of Matt Lloyd over most in here.
  11. Come up with your own bold game-changing move for the club that will actually make a difference for the first time in 55 years then, instead of potting others. Tip: Think Boyd/Griffen in scope. Edit: And i'd trade Viney, pick 3 and 2020 first to get a Fyfe deal done.
  12. You have been deeleted, friend.
  13. If we were to appoint Ross Lyon as head of coaching, or assistant and ready for a caretaker role in the wake of Goody underperforming mid season.. then who kNows what the Future may bring for us Dees fans
  14. Still unsigned... Would be throwing a decent offer his way. Langdon, Tippa, Pick 3 & another forward be it senior KPF or 3rd tall. Be pretty happy with that.
  15. Yeah, with Todd. We may need to trade Jack Viney. ?
  16. And then who knows, maybe he'll end up being coached by Ross Lyon again..
  17. https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/fremantle-young-gun-andrew-brayshaw-was-left-rattled-by-ross-lyons-shock-sacking/news-story/7cdb60491e8717f08593d6d71348b7a6?nk=4ad508641f6b1b337ed67722429c5214-1566469842 Maybe he would like to join his brother and jump into the Langdon trade.
  18. Throw in Westhoff then! He can play up forward.
  19. Funny how this has turned into a thread for renewal virtue signaling
  20. Nah, but we'll definitely give more than pick 20 for him.
  21. Gee we love adding more Dons to our club!
  22. If he's mentally unstable enough to be happy at the Dees after this year, then we might have to lower the value estimations even further
  23. 44/25 + Landon valued at pick 20 equals pick 5 in trade value. Valued at pick 15 = pick 4, I wouldn't be so shocked if we caved in for that because Brayshaw told us he wanted to go.
  24. Brayshaw will have toured the facilities by then and made a trade request. Ok, Bell will throw in a pick 44 to sweeten the deal.
  25. WIshful thinking. They'll want a Langdon for Brayshaw direct swap, we'll want what you said. We'll cave for Langdon and pick 25
