  1. Having issues on my end too. I can add items to my cart, but the discount is not automatically applied when I go to checkout (despite the email saying it should). I'll re-try in 24 hours.
  2. He's not a free agent based on the list released by the AFL, meaning we'd have to trade for him. Plus, the story is just Franklin's camp postering, and are clearly trying to get a better deal from the Swans. He wants it public that he's been lowballed and has threatened to play elsewhere so that the Swans up their offer from $500k, to his desired $700k-800k. The Heraldsun is happy to go with the story for clicks and advertising cash.
  3. Thank you for passing on your mail as always Was holding out hope, but that's that.....Hoperfully we get plenty in return.
  4. What could've been?.... The Kozzy miss..... The Fritsch dribble with Langdon free..... The Bedford fumble when he was off and away..... The umpires not calling below the knees against Rohan on Jackson which nearly broke his leg.... The JJ holding the ball.....
  5. James Jordon, amongst all this hurt and devastation, you can hold your head up high young fella.
  6. Daniel Turner was not ready. Don't want to hear about the concussion. You could tell he was not ready before the concussion.
  7. I think the match committee should consider playing Mitch Brown as a KPD. Was more than serviceable as a defender during his time at Essendon, in particular during the replacement player period. If Petty doesn't get up, I'd be putting Mitch Brown as a KPD and Weideman to come in as 2nd KPF. Turner isn't ready IMO.
  8. The Heraldsun quotes that there were up to 12 players at the dinner. The blame and responsibility is on May, but surely some of the other players present would have known he shouldn't have been drinking? True leadership is another player at the table ensuring May didn't drink, when he may have wanted to. If the altercation occurred because Melksham was having a go at May for drinking, then I have respect for Melksham.
  9. Interesting that Melksham was brought in from outside the four emergencies announced yesterday. I wonder if one of the four emergencies got it as well as ANB, and Melksham was brought in.
  10. Looks like Gus was locked in the strong room during the off-season
  11. Seems to be a slight change in colour of the Zurich logo on our home Guernsey for this year.
  12. I wouldn't be surprised if we are interested again this year in Ben Long. We asked the question after 2018. Looks to be on the outer now: https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/stay-up-to-date-with-the-latest-trade-free-agency-and-offseason-news-at-your-club/news-story/e8cffa2ab482a05ce62808ed04cc49de He has the versatility to play at both ends, but with Lockhart and Nev gone, we have limited options for small quick defenders, and I think he would be a good option there, and wouldn't cost too much.
  13. Will never forgive Dwayne Russell for his commentary from the Geelong vs Melbourne game when we got thumped. Seemed to take delight it what was happening. Said it was the clubs "last supper".
  14. "Bennnnyyyyy Brrrooowwwnnnnnn.........there we are!!"
  15. Looks to be going around again next year too. Good insurance if we have injuries to our key position players. Has shown the capability to impact forward for us, and was a very handy key position defender at times at Essendon too. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/demons-re-sign-mitch-brown-amid-list-changes-20210928-p58vdf.html
  16. anyone have access to this article? https://thewest.com.au/sport/afl-draft/afl-draft-2021-east-fremantle-colts-skipper-taj-woewodin-on-demons-dad-shane-wafl-finals-draft-hopes-and-more-c-4057172
  17. This vision from the competitive training session is not filling me with much confidence: Shows examples of the red (B) side easily manoeuvring their way through our blue (A) team with fast handballs and breakaway runs through the front of stoppages, which is how the Bulldogs will be looking to play. They will look to run it out through our defensive setup rather then bombing it long to Lever/May and co. Nerves have increased even further.
  18. Looks like he doesn't have many options out there, reported in heraldsun..... https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/news/moneyball-follow-all-the-latest-news-on-player-movement-and-potential-trades-in-the-afl/news-story/902e05ce0c811960e3161633e63cdff6
  19. He wouldn't even get a game! 😂 I've gotten carried away and I don't care #grandfinalbound
  20. Have to vacate the #22 for Taj somehow....
  21. Robbie D'orazio I assume. Cerra's manager.
  22. No surprise to see the Bulldogs and Cats on top of the freekick differential ladder for the year
