  1. Original picture can be found here http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/fans/wallpapers It's pretty hilarious if you look at their edit job to their photo on Hawthorn FC's twitter page now
  2. I've checked original pic and he is certainly in the original. Welcome Mr. Lewis!
  3. Had 21 votes in 2013, 15 votes in 2014
  4. I remembered this 3 minute discussion from 360 about Hawthorn players (Lewis) potentially taking paycuts, but the issue if the player brought in (O'meara, Vickery) then becomes the highest paid, skip to 32:55 for beginning of discussion:
  5. Maybe we can get a treatment from advanced hair studio as a sweetener in his contract to get him over the line.
  6. We are obviously miffed. The first time someone with credibility brought up the rumour, it was G. Wright on the Hawks website where he said there was an "enquiry" made about Lewis. Ultimately portraying it as if we actively went after Lewis. Mahoney and the gang are not only miffed the Hawks backflipped deal, but made it seem like we initiated it all. Then the "MFC people" Barrett referenced in the podcast, went on a spree to all news outlets making it abundantly clear that it was Lewis and his management that approached us, not us approaching Hawks, which their hierarchy would have preferred given the past week with Mitchell leaving. Wanted to save themselves from more criticism by not making it look like they were pushing out another of their premiership stars. Well done to Dees for not taking a backward step.
  7. Podcast of NAB trade radio released just now summary (voices of: Barrett, Wallace, Cleary): - Hawthorn in "damage control", "borderline crisis" - Jordan Lewis "disgruntled", "no guarantee he'll be playing for Hawthorn" next year - Clarkson approached Lewis, as he did with Mitchell, but only in last 24 hours Hawthorn want Lewis to stay - Demons were approached by Lewis' management (Pickering), not other way around, MFC people confirmed this
  8. Just when we thought it was all too boring. The Lewis rumour took off.....
  9. Looks like you are spot on given the article released just now in heraldsun. Classic Dodoro leaking this to the media so GWS and Gold coast crap themselves and they will have to give 3 and 5, or in GC's case give 4 and 8 to Essendon. Essendon could bid No.1 draft pick on northern academy stars in surprise draft move SAM LANDSBERGER, Herald Sun 7 minutes ago ESSENDON is likely to sacrifice the prestige of crowning this year’s No.1 draft pick by bidding on academy stars Jack Bowes and Will Setterfield. If both bids are matched the Bombers would watch Gold Coast secure Bowes and GWS secure Setterfield before selecting either Hugh McCluggage or Andy McGrath at No.3. The shock move would force the expansion clubs to either pay premium price for their prized midfielders or watch them flourish at Tullamarine.
  10. I think this loophole of collating picks for points has been halted. The league on Monday night ruled that clubs could enter this year’s draft only with the number of selections that matched the number of open spots on their list. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/afl-abolishes-draft-loophole-that-allowed-clubs-to-gain-an-advantage-by-stockpiling-backend-picks/news-story/112f1b7e18eda1f3127038e1a48a1477
  11. Could we possibly end up trading: Melb give pick 28 and 46 Ess give Hibberd and 39 Improves our third, and get hibberd for our desired 2nd
  12. ESSENDON is happy to part with defender Michael Hibberd for a second-round pick, however it would prefer it was this year's rather than a 2017 pick. Dees, Dons close to finalising Hibberd trade Peter Ryan
  13. No. Perhaps getting Brand opens up Frost for forward/ruck role if injuries occur.
  14. Hartung, Brand (OOC), Litherland, Schoenmakers (please no), Spangher (OOC), Heatherley, McEvoy (OOC)
  15. I don't even know what a "overly refreshed hawks player" implies.
