Speaking of Nathan Freeman just saw that he has to have surgery on his troublesome hamstring and is expected to miss another 4 to 6 weeks.. Fair to say we dodged a massive bullet. Kudos to Jason Taylor in nailing this pick.

What have you seen his medical report have you? Did the doc or Dave Mission tell you his finish did they?

I need to put up my hand and cop a slice of humble pie. I voiced my concern about picking Salem over Nathan Freeman and Luke Dunstan. But he has been nothing but super for us this year. His pin point delivery and poise is such a delight to watch. While Dunstan will be a good player, Freeman is currently struggling in the VFL.. could you imagine the wrist slashing lol I love how he took Franklin on last night and surprisingly managed to get away from him. I would love to see him push up into the midfield but i don't think we will see that till next year. Leave him where he is now he is developing just fine. He add grunt and hardness his decision making is top notch. A midfield combo of Salem Petracca Brayshaw Tyson Viney Stretch ANB and Toumpas looks quite formidable in years time.

Ridiculously way overs..Forget Kennedy. Throw that at Shiel or Treloar.

Did you even watch Casey yesterday before making those assumptions? Harmes and White are still a fair way off. Harmes was barely sighted yesterday and White is slowly developing who will need time.Smith is not much chop at all either. Another who i rarely noticed until 3rd qtr.

I lost count how many times their bigger bodies simply shrugged us off with ease.. We look so much smaller and skinnier that even our jumpers look like they are all XL size. It was worth a try at the start to get more miles into the legs but our midfield is just way too small to compete against the likes of Sydney and Freo. Its simply not working. Must find a way this pre season to get bigger without losing the speed and indurance because atm we just look way too light.

Does anyone think Cam Pedersen should have played in defence on Tippet? I think Pedo plays his best position there and Dunn got absolutely monsterd by Kurt. I would give pedo a go in defence, he also took some good contested marks down back too. Been a massive critic of Watts but when he came on and played on the wing i thought he look quite classy with the ball. I wouldn't drop just yet now after seeing him in the midfield id give him a crack for the next 3 weeks and see how he goes.

In: Viney Jetta Out: Pedersen and maybe JKH I thought pedo was doing alright. Took some good contested mark in defence.

Won back a little bit of respect but still we were bad. Salem and Mcdonald were clearly our best on ground. Mcdonald is such a beast and Salem deserves special mention for playing like that after a knock last week. Also good on Dom Tyson for playing out the last qtr after i nearly had a heart attack after the way he grabbed his knee.. Lumumba tried to take the game on and i like that. Made some errors but i felt along with salem he just tried to move it on quicly. Stretch started off well but ran out of puff. Didn't have a disposal at all in the 2nd half. Hogan was great again. Presented all night with 8 marks and 2 goals. How good was Garlett in the midfield? Don't know what game some were watching i thought Toumpas was ok. Did plenty of gut run and went in harder then usual. Needs a good stretch of games to continue to gain confidence.
