  1. Grimes is playing VFL because he can't kick. Even at this standard his disposal is horrible.
  2. No it wouldn't be fair to say that because that is a ridiculous statement.Hunt is light years away from senior football that i would expect him to play senior footy this year at all. He has missed 12 months of football and even when he was in the Casey 1s he was struggling.
  3. Err no his not.Based on form he shouldn't even be in the side.
  4. Good timing for me with the live game on today. I play footy tomorrow so its fitted in perfectly for me. I am excited to see the likes of Oscar Mcdonald and Alex Neal-bullen play today! Hope ANB plays an absolute blinder today. More pressure on our midfield spots. Also looking forward to seeing how Jamar and Grimes respond.
  5. To all the Ckheads wishing injury to Mitch Clark your wish is about to come true..
  6. Doesn't rate Jetta in Melbournes top 10 and criticizes other poster for mentioning it, yet desperately wants him back in the side.Lightweight..
  7. Not buying into that. If the coaches were happy with the task set out for Jack watts then we have issues. Im happy for the likes of Spencer Toump and Stretch getting games but Viv and Grimes are very very stiff. The McKenzie treatment, i'm sorry to say has been very poor from our coaches.
  8. Its a myth mate.It bucketed down against adelaide and we came out next week and pumped Richmond. They have enough sport science and And technology to get this stuff right
  9. Does anyone else get the feeling that these are career defining changes. McKenzie and unfortunately Grimes I cannot see them being at the club next year now. And I think its a fair chance Jamar will retire at years end.
  10. Glad Spencer is given a go. His form at Casey has been really strong. I really hope he has a break out game keeps his spot in the side.
  11. BANG!! Loving the changes.. except im gobsmacked Grimes is out after one game yet Watts is still in..
  12. Oh gosh this gets even funnier! Two difference. Eddie has a big role to play at the club.. he is the president Garry is a media personality. He has nothing to do with the club so he can say what he likes its his job. Some people are so dam clueless
  13. F me! SWYL do yourself a favour and much down to aimee park and go and confront Todd Viney himself and find the answers there and tell him what you really think. Because it quite bloody obvious your going to sulk and scream over this until our next premiership comes along. Whats done is done! Kicking and screaming isn't going to change the past. You know what it wouldn't matter what anser you got from Viney your a sad old fart that will never be satisfied at all. Back to the topic i enjoyed his interview. I forget at times he was a premiership assistant coach at the Hawks. Interesting he mentioned that when he was at Adelaide he decided he wanted to be a senior coach.
  14. I bag Watts alot. But this is a very stupid thread. We all know the truth. No need to start a new thread but.. Fmd
  15. Would be winning the bluey by a country mile.
  16. I agree. but sooner or later he needs to be rewarded for his strong form in the 2s.
  17. Jakey Spencer was the bug surprise for me. Couldn't believe a bloke his size is actually quite nimble and not the dinosaur ruckman like Jamar. I am very surprised he wasn't named in the best.. In fact I couldn't believe Bail did.. At some point Roosy seriously needs to consider giving Spence a fair go. While Jamar has been serviceable he won't be there next year and now we need Jake in the team as a number 1 ruckman. His chasing and 2nd efforts are first class for such a big guy. I don't want another Darren Jolly / Stefan Martin scenario again...
  18. Agree and for those asking for Bail to come in are kidding themselves aswell. Turns it over way too much even at VFL level as I am currently watching. The McKenzie's and Bail's il give them a pat on the back for putting in the effort during those tough times. But now with our young talent coming through we just cannot afford to give these guys any more AFL games. The likes of Toumpas ANB Stretch are ones we should now be looking for depth and giving them plenty of experiences.
  19. He was BOG in the 1st half mate. I would much rather him in the side then Watts or McKenzie.
  20. Wached the first half of the Casey game. and now half way through 3rd qtr. I am all for bringing Fitzy in as he has impressed me down back but who do we drop for him? You would have to go tall for tall. Get rid of McKenzie please.. I would bring Riley in for him. The guy is a nutter around the stoppages! I wish Toumpas continued his good form from the first half. He really was BOG for the 1st QTRS of the game. Now gonna watch why he went missing. Dawes in for Watts.
  21. Just watched the 1st half. I would have to say out of all the MFC players Toumpas was best on ground for me so far. He used his pace and broke the lines, something we have rarely seen from him. His kicking was exceptional as well. About to watch the 2nd half. Riley: Tough bugger! puts his head over the ball and wins the hard contested footy. ANB: First glimpse and thought he was actually quite impressive. Another inside midfielder that will just get better and better as each game goes by. Needs to tidy up on his kicking but 2st game in the ones will do that to you. Fitzy: A gun backman at this level. If he could now make the step up and bring this sort of effort into AFL level we could have a surprise packet here. Terlich: Got his pants pulled down by Hardingham.. Long way back I would have thought., Jones: Wins the ball but his disposal by foot is just what lets him down unfortunately.. Gawn: Took some great marks in the last line of defence in the 2nd qtr. Spencer: He is seriously a monster of a bloke. I have been a big critic of him but I wouldn't be against giving him a fair go in the ruck at AFL level.. I think he is next in line after Jamar and we need to seriously consider giving him some games to see if he has what it takes. Looks more nimble this year. White: Quite half so far. hopefully I see a bit more in the 2nd half. OMAC: A development year for McDonald. You would rather the ball in his hands then his Brother lol. Has a great kick on him. Bail: Just another battler for me to be honest. Didn't impress me at all.
