Part 2: Jason Taylor - Visionary or Over-rated - 2014
It was a shame that Billy Stretch never made it in the AFL, his dad Steven was a great player for the club and one of the best to come from SA.

Just glad to see him back, hopefully he can snag a few and annoy his former team this weekend.

Free to Air TV Losing Money and Shedding Jobs - What does that mean for footy?
Most international sports (and now in Australia) are either majority/solely pay for view as free to air can no longer compete with subscription TV.

Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson
Depending on results I think the GWS would be a possible game to debut him.

Food at the Footy
You cannot use cash at Adelaide Oval and most venues in Adelaide. Sign of the times sadly.

Angus Brayshaw Highlights - All 49 Goals
His mark running with the flight of the ball and goal in the GF will be my favourite memory of him. Really miss his podcast too.

Issac Heeney Tribunal Disgrace
Would have thought the AFL Gestapo would have wanted Heeney to be cleared, given the benefits of having a Brownlow medallist in Sydney. Like Heeney as a player, feel sorry for him.

The Soccer thread
Hoping for a Spain v Holland final. While the standard from the "minnow" teams has been quite good the lack of scoring has been disappointing, France and England in particular.

Jason Taylor - visionary or overrated
Jason Taylor would be worth 3 1st round picks if he ever left. Has done a great job.

"Very sore" Max Gawn in doubt for next Saturday vs Essendon
Why its almost impossible to replace Max I would not be surprised if both Fullarton and Jefferson (if Petty is N/A) both play this week.

- Too Predictable
Probably but he is having an average season, few can deny this. Perhaps try him on a wing and try to get the flaws out of Fritsch’s game and inturn improve our forward delivery? The other concern is having Jake Melksham returning from an ACL being relied upon to be a key forward component again highlights a problem which has been ongoing since Luke Jackson left (note Joel Smith being N/A has also hamstrung the situation).- PREGAME: Rd 17 vs West Coast

I like Harvey Harrison as a player, also because he grew up down the road from my house.- NON-MFC: Round 17
Like the Kangas chances against GC and GWS to bounce back against Carlton.- Jake Melksham returning
When he is ready hopefully he will come in for Fritsch who has been bang average.- TRAINING: Monday 1st July 2024
