  1. [censored] whats next, interpretations rules on what can an cannot be whispered. Im just waiting for the day AI to take over and robots umpiring the whole match.
  2. Its a shame Union has struggled to get traction in recent years, particularly since the Wallaby glory days. I dont mind watching it compared to League which is simply hideous.

Still cant trust Gold Coast, I think the Bomberflogs might beat them this week.
  4. Harley Reid is out of Contract next year.
  5. Luker Kentfield | WAFL
  6. He seems like a nice kick as well, has scored 42.13 from his WAFL games. I hope we dont beat that accuracy out of him :(
  7. At 19 we know big lads take time to develop and hopefully Luka can mould into a handy fwd/ruck option.
  8. I hope someone picks up Kobe Ryan from West Adelaide. A tall mid, good skills and hard as nails and dare say would be the best player in the SANFL ATM.
  9. Seriously what other sport in the world would do this? Just leave the game alone during the season.

TMAc is also out of contract and if Petty does end up at the Crows we may need him.

This is the most recent article on this issue, basically he can choose a club his dad played for or a franchise with nice weather: Inside Trading: Battle for son of a gun, Roo to extend, Cat keen to stay (afl.com.au) Kalani, a 200cm defender, has lived on the Gold Coast with his family since the end of Jeff's career in 2008, making the Suns eligible to pick him under northern Academy rules when he hits his draft season next year. But he also qualifies as a father-son to the Demons, where Jeff was a star ruckman for 236 games for 11 years. Kalani is a member of the Suns Academy and will play in the Coates Talent League this season for Gold Coast, but has also spent time with the Demons' father-son program as his development grows.
  12. Been there a few times, the climate is similar to Regional SA. Dry (but not humid) but nights can be quite chilled.

Good to see him finally have breakout game. While he is developing in the hardest position on the field if he can string a strong 4-5 games together and debut could come later this year. Weed only played about 10 games or so before debuting in a final and with Petty out of form anything is possible.
  14. Need a massive improvement from last week and some of our "2nd tier" players to step up. We should control the midfield but conversion will be the worry.

Well played GWS, how I long for more of this:

Does not look like much of a crowd, guess the opposition not interesting enough. I will be watching the Giro D'Italia later tonight.
  17. Just when we ended the Norm Smith curse 3 years ago; we now have another.
  18. Thats what the Gameday thread appears to be for.
  19. Why the hell is this even a thread.

Would be feeding him to the Wolves if we played him now, plus JVR and Fullarton can come into the side. If we out of contention with 5 Rounds to go, then I would give him a go.
  21. Dont know what to make of that, sees like we need a reset year as some are either past it or not quite ready for this level.
  22. Wake up Melbourne
  23. The last game just reaffirms that you cannot take any opposition for granted.
