  1. Goodwin fluked a flag
  2. Would have if it was up to me. Players love him apparently. I love anyone who lets me sit on the coach and do nothing and tell me I’m special
  3. Max might not see the year out.
  4. Howes in the air plays like he is 178cm and on the ground like Max
  5. I was there and felt it might have been closer to 28-30k. Living in regional Victoria this year I’ve committed to 6 games, 3 of which will be the first 3 rounds. Loving the family friendly schedule this year, as I cannot attend night games easily.
  6. Yes, he and Stringer will miss our match.
  7. Negatives- Backline look to panic and cannot handle fast entry. Howes, Lever and Bowey shouldn’t play together. Billings is not in our best 25. Koz will be missed the first few rounds. Positives- Trac and Oliver look to have the chemistry back. Clearances are our biggest asset and will allow us to setup behind the ball! We have found Pedo 2.0 in Johnson. Works hard, competes hard.
  8. Blake Howes might have played himself out of round 1
  9. Agility is not something we have or draft for
  10. Agility is not something we have or draft for
  11. Billing’s can’t handle pressure. Gameplan is still a mystery, looks slow and uncertain
  12. It’s a fair statement. 3 first rounders in a compromised draft, could be 3,15 and 22 for example. I’d argue Koz is worth more than that.
  13. Kako will be a star. He has great instincts on where the ball will drop and is footy smart. Looks a nice young kid too. Doesn’t get too carried away, seems respectful. Not sure he suits Essendon. A Blue guernsey would suit him more than black
  14. Not sure. I’ve not seen enough of him live in the back half. He certainly has the disposal, but AMW and McVee are defend first, attacking backman. Rivers obviously can, but he appears to be too valuable in the midfield now.
  15. AMW would have played as he is an excellent tackler and good on the very quick crafty small forward. Not sure we have a replacement. Bowey is a poor tackler and Salem too slow. Kynan Brown has pace and DNA, but not been playing in that role. With McVee out and GWS with elite small forwards, it’s a glaring issue.
  16. ACL by the looks. A couple of big F words as he comes off.
  17. You would never get a job at AFL house… you make too much sense.
  18. Laurie and Brown could play the role. Also like the idea of Bowey eventually playing as a small forward.
  19. Clarry looks to have trimmed down over the break and looks AFL fit! Thought the break could have went either way, but looks committed to elite footy.
  20. Instagram showing Casey training on now
  21. What a great read. Well done WJ.
  22. Breakout year for me, would be Adams, Fullerton, Verrell, Howes and Jefferson. All others mentioned have had breakout years, what we need is for some to recapture form and others to improve on prior best years. I would say we only had 2-3 players last year who performed above normal output.
  23. Cam Pederson type. Set to play next year
  24. Is Laura Kane previously from Play School?
  25. Arrived, didn’t like the culture, then left…
