Highly doubt this level of sophistication exists. They are just a couple of blokes with huge egos that need to feel relevant. No one talks to them as they can’t be trusted, so they often float stories out there. For what it’s worth, I think Clarry might benefit from a change of employer. Geelong might be an environment that suits as it’s close knit and away from his current friend groups.

We looked better without him last night. But will be a balancing act to try and push his trade value up for the rest of the year.

Tom Morris just said on 9 news Clarry is looking to leave at years end. Could be a great result if we can get something decent. We appear to have ready replacements and Clarry will benefit from the change.

The next 8 weeks is operation ‘give Essendon- stuff all’ where we turn their pick 4 to pick 18.

I read an article by Sheehan saying GC have 2 potential top 15 academy picks plus potentially White. Brisbane and Sydney also have top 10 academy pick. Competition seems fair.

2nd incident like this, this year where a Hawks player has round armed an opponent. I think Scrimshaw got 3 or 4 weeks for hitting Ridley. They have form under Mitchell. Wonder if he has instructed them to make players earn it.

Playing on and moving the ball quickly is quite taxing. A few might have spent their petrol tickets. The more you play that style you run out the games better.

The coach will depend on whether the club genuinely think we are contending, or if we need another few years to challenge. Rebuild coaches do not last the journey, so if we want to rebuild might be worth getting a coach who can instill strong ethic and attacking flair, and Above all skills. I think Hird could be an option if he was keen to coach again.

Oliver is tolerated. Not sure you’d spend time with him if you didn’t have to. Most players his age are married with kids, so have less in common.

Trac wants out and from what I’ve heard, Oliver should be shoved out. JVR is being wasted and will be considering his position. Kos will ask a trade at years end- book mark it. We do not rotate the best 22, unless injuries force our hand, so fringe players leave. Been happening a while. Not sure why I’m taking the [censored]. Coach, players and coaching staff are taking the [censored].

Been saying this a while. Best coaches are the ones you respect and work hard to earn their approval. Not ones you are friends with. Players run the show at our club. Players like that need to be shown the door. I’ve heard from sources inside the club we have a few who influence others in this space

I think we need to get comfortable with the thought that Kos, Trac, Oliver and even JVR might be gone at years end. Could also see Sestan, Laurie, Howes, McVee and Petty chasing trades. Some given little game time, others regretting contract extensions and sold false hope. We need some senior players with kicking skills and leadership from other clubs. Plus 2-3 high draft picks

We have not had any players put on bulk muscle for years. Petty and Jed Adam’s can’t play key position as they are not strong enough. We need some proper sports high performance trainers

Tonight’s result might be the end of Simon. But the bigger issue is how the hell does Choco keep his job.. KPI is skills and conversation.. both are shizen

We are mentally frail, lazy and not committed to the cause. We also have a coach who loves to reward the above, so not sure how we win this one. Currently overseas on a family holiday, so will only see the result later this afternoon. Hoping this might be Goodwins last game as coach.

I love Jack and am hopeful he recaptures form. But he is so out of form and agree with most he cannot be afforded midfielder minutes. I’d go one step further to suggest on current form he needs time in the VFL. Laurie to replace him for now. Could be good for Jack to spend a couple of weeks at VFL to work on some things and will help the younger players with his leadership

Very obvious live the last 2 weeks that we don’t have players working hard enough without the ball. Besides dropping 15 players this week (a couple did have a crack) I’m not sure how to fix this mentality without bringing in a new coach and assistants.
