I couldn’t find the Petracca thread, but just caught Tom Morris on SEN saying Tracc is still wanting out. It might be an interesting few weeks.

If we were confident that Clarry could recapture his best form, I wouldn’t be against entertaining Petracca to be traded. He and ANB and possibly Sparrow would get us some decent picks for this years draft. I’d love to bring on 2 young gun mids and another small forward/small defender

If he wants out, then we have the power to demand some serious currency. I’d rather he move this year, so we can go to the draft, than in future compromised drafts. Club is bigger than the player.

One thing to highlight was Kolts clean pickup late in the last quarter and instantaneous handball to a player running by. It cane from a centre bounce, absolutely class. He will be a nice rotation through the midfield off a big preseason next year.

This is not a hard fix. Get everyone together and thrash out the issues. I would ask the players for input on the game style. Then plan out and execute our biggest preseason yet. Behind the scenes I would look to change some coaching personnel. Refresh and go again

Hard to argue the Oliver point. Talked to an ex AFL player and he said that regardless of a lack of pre-season, Oliver should still be dynamic early in quarters.. I watched him walking after opponents 2 minutes into the game. He just doesn’t care.
