  1. Give him a go next week. No other option
  2. It’s not about size. Skinny players can have a presence. He lacks physicality and is scared of contact. He has no confidence and will not make even a 3rd tall AFL option. Delist now and save the spot for someone who has a go. Fullerton is a better player and he is also not AFL standard.
  3. Fritta, Oliver, Trac and Lever all up for trade.
  4. Tracc is mentally checked out
  5. Remember when games like this were would see Oliver come out and take the game by the scruff of the neck.. a long time ago
  6. Jeffo reminds me of Watts. He just has no confidence and mongrel. Would rather play another small forward
  7. Rubbish call
  8. Time to clear out Goody and his coaching panel. Time to cut the list deep. Trac, Oliver, May, Fritta, Lever all in the equation. Plus all the 2-4 year fringe players who are not up to it. Bring in some leaders from other clubs. Plan for a 2027-28 rise.
  9. He drafts based on the coach and footy departments direction. Competitive, combative players who win their own footy was the brief. Only recently speed and ball use has been a focus. Not his fault. He has done what was asked. Knows good footballers
  10. Has straight line speed and breaks lines. His kicking is iffy at times and he reminds me a little of Jayden Hunt. Hoping he can improve his agility, decision making and his 5m acceleration.
  11. Are we sure he was trying to tap to advantage and not mark the ball?
  12. Missed the questions- but keen to know how you believe we can build trust within the forwards and mids. It’s a chicken and egg scenario- where forwards don’t lead as the mids do not lower their eyes and the mids bomb it long as the forwards are stagnant. How do we address this issue ingrained over time?
  13. Could we move on all 3 🤔
  14. It is unfortunately hard to argue against. We have ingrained habits, that for years, couldn’t be coached out. I’d be keen to see coach and coaching staff sacked. I’d be keen to see 2 of our highest paid mids and an overpaid backman traded. We still have some talent, but it will be lost to poor development and poor system
  15. SPC replied to Turner's topic in Trade & Draft
    Not controversial. All facts.
  16. Goodwin can go as can all the assistants
  17. I’m over the same [censored] every week, every year. Cleaning out of coach and players. None have brain cells
  18. Tracc is the worst kick in the comp. He is trade bait.
  19. Show of strength. If May was a forward, it would be ok
  20. We are [censored]
  21. Koltyn is a strange one. I really like him, but leave every match he plays feeling underwhelmed. I think he is an excellent team mate and does play team first footy, but also makes simple mistakes and does go missing. He is my new Tom Sparrow. Really hope he makes it!
  22. A good re-signing. I’m not sure he is a backman. Would like to see him off a wing or forward. Got huge scope.
  23. SPC replied to jnrmac's topic in Melbourne Demons
Turner needs to be settled as a key back.. not to be played forward again.. I’d move Petty back and keep him there. He is a backman first, not forward. We should play May forward if needed. Need to build the backline and get this locked down.
  24. SPC replied to jnrmac's topic in Melbourne Demons
Petty was outmuscled by Howe plenty of time yesterday which should never happen. He is a run and jump player, we really need a strong body who can contest hard and commands the best backman.
