Not a great game of footy. Dogs look to be overrated. A top 4 contender should be able to cover a couple of injuries their composure and know cling inside 50 have been horrible wells and Waite are adding a lot to the Roos this year. Reckon they'll be top 4

Oliver 11 touches and 1 clearance last week. hopefully the idea of resting him will mean we can limit his ineffectual games like last week

It's not being questioned because the teams are not performing well - it is being questioned because a club of drug cheats is playing. they lied, cheated, put young men's lives and their livelihoods in danger and are still not remorseful! Not exactly what ANZAC day should stand for!

I reckon Petracca will be ripping the yellow pages apart right now I get the feeling Roos and the coaches are doing this to Trac on purpose to keep his arrogance in check. god knows the dees of 3 years ago would have played Trac in round 2 and brought on the fanfair. thank god we are being run like an actual proper club now

In. Vince, Garlett Out, Oliver and Brayshaw Oliver to be dropped/rested, only 11 touches. still did ok but the two coming in are better. Brayshaw - dont mess around with concussion with a young mid - bound to get hit a lot

right. i probably should have read the post properly same thoery applies. are 95% sure the timeframe is so many weeks but want to wait til swelling goes down and it is 100% until people are informed. we know how annoying it is to hear 4 weeks and then it turns into 8

possible reasons include: only 95% sure that surgery is the option waiting on second opinion from another doc waiting on a scan/test to 100% confirm surgery is the way to go want to wait until 100% sure to tell the public rumours and inside info can often be stuff that is 90% gonna happen

I suspect they are holding back the numbers to announce we've broken our record at an opportune time to get some good press

id gently suggest that I dont give a rats about what american sports do. they have franchises. we have clubs

Surely Wagner will be dropped with hunt coming in. Don't want too many kids playing in the team. Esp in the backline

I hope the Dees have nothing to do with this. Footy is not a global sport - get over it AFL! imagine coming back from China and having to play the next week? wtf. this is a serious competition not an AFL legends team touring the world

thats what I love about footy - anything could happen I can see us winning each one of these games but it would not surprise me one bit if we lost any of these games. you would think it will even out and we will end up winning 1-2 of the next 3. the season is so short that if we lose these 3 the season is finished for us - so the pressure is on - lets see how we handle it

interesting. do you know if that is starting 22 or the squad? north are almost an average of 28yo! fook me. bad list management anyway you slice it. we will struggle to win consistently (and make finals) until we get closer to 100 games. keep the same team together this year with not too many injuries and our ave should go up to where the dogs are now which could mean a big year next year

have a feeling the pies will get up (makes me sick). they have been under the pump all week so we come out breathing fire. we have had a week of - "arent the dees playing great" in the media even though we lost and have the same record as the pies who are in a crisis. hopefully soon when the dees are 1-2 we will be a crisis!

although we'll miss Vince. collingwood are without Elliot and Swan which are two of their best add to that Witts and Williams who are best 22. and a ? over Varcoe. so they are certainly in worse shape than us injury wise. Scharenberg also a loss for them. Brayshaw and Garlett to come in for Vince and Bugg

very poor from Vince. you cant swing your elbow like that. we dont really have a replacement for him as he is a class of his own regarding skills, inside/outside game, experience Brayshaw will do. if fully fit

Thinking Positively: we had 63 inside fiftys, kicking 20 goals against a top 5 team we won the contested posessions by 32 Oliver is a dead set gun after 3 games! didnt think i would see a debut season better than Brayshaw this year but we are seeing it Gawn back to his best - against the best ball movement a lot better if we have of showed some composure, maturity and confidence in the last Q we would have won. with little or no injuries and plenty knocking on the selection door, we have Pies, Tiges and Saints. no excuses, just 3 wins thanks!

So saints and dogs played prelims and gfs 6-8 years ago while we were bottom re building. And they have both passed us out. Wtf. Wtf

if we play like we have in the first 2 rounds (aside from one quarter) we'll get hammered, regardless of who is the 2nd tall fwd or who is down back the issue is the midfield and ball movement and [censored] putting in for 4 quarters. just name 22 fit guys who want to out their head over the ball and know the game plan (whatever the fk it is)

was probably the most promising 2 quarters of the year: we looked electric for 2nd and 3rd Qs. hopefully north go into this game with the same crappy attitude we had last week

I would keep Brayshaw in if he just played poorly due to lack of match fitness. he needed the run (should have been at casey) but he will be better for it. Dunn or Frost or both need to come in for North's tall fwds drop anyone that is not fit, eg Oliver. he has played 5 in a row and may need a rest. I would be tempted to keep guys like Kent/Hogan in to redeem themselves. Kent is an angry bugger so Id like to see him show that.
