why do I keep checking this thread on the off chance Hogan has signed? this is not good for Dubdee's mental health

Really excited to play the swans away (haven't said that for over 10 years Im sure). no one will give us a chance and I reckon we'll get stuck into them. we will have 1 or 2 surprising wins yet this year (and surprising losses) so its nice to look forward to all games - even though we'll probably lose. You only need to look at Adelaide and WC to see we will not play finals this year. WC have a easy run coming up. Our 'final' will be when we play adelaide at home in round 13. win that and we are an outside chance, I still think we are too young - we will play some great games and some shockers

Viney and Kennedy in for Harmes and Garlett. Trac and Oliver to play more fwd. Kennedy to be mostly fwd I'm glad we finally have some standards and have dropped Garlett. Kennedy in for harmes garlett gets a week to make up for dodging the contest. He is a big game player. I expect 4 goals and plenty of tackles for Garlett

i never said he would get lots of shots on goal. Just stating his strengths. He is not good in the ruck - that is why he can't ruck. Watts can jump, has good touch. So he was decent

Why can't Dawes ruck? Why can't T Mac kick? Why can't Watts hip n shoulder? whats the point of this thread? different players have different skills. Dawes' strengths when fit are leading, kicking for goal, tackling, leadership. Not marking or ruck work. he just rucks when there is noone better to do so

Stef has proven over the past 5 years he cannot play forward more than 20%. i honestly dont know if he would get a game at the moment if we had him. he is average aside from 1st Ruck

you could play Ronald McDonald on Cloke and you'd be OK the way he is playing

Oscar played pretty well on saturday in a poor defence. his best game I though. Certainly won't be dropped.

interesting stat. But I think the Hawks defence won the game for them. They are calm and hit targets and their mids provide options. if you do this, it is hard for fwds to lay tackles. on the other hand if your defender plays a bad handball that puts a defender under pressure that will lead to 3-4 tackles in a row. still think our fwds could do better with pressure but the main issue is ball use at the back and mid spreading

If rather support the losing team than support a bunch of duckers, droppers and divers.

They could be 8-1 and the game would be all over. Missed sitters how can we allow so many marks in 50 on a wet day?
