injuries in the first 2 years are very common. adjusting to AFL training and games. its not just dees, its across the board

I love grimes and trenners. I think we all do. They stood up and led during some horrible years when they shouldn't have had to. I can't argue with the ins and outs. Fact is, we need pace and line breaking. They must think Garlett and harmes have done enough. Garlett is an interesting one, I think the normal rules don't apply to him. He has enough runs on the board to come back in. He better chase and tackle though or he'll be dropped. And now he knows that is no empty threat

have to admit, if we get beated easily - I will be gutted. im still holding out some hope that we will surprise a few teams this year. Only surprising win really has been GWS but strange things happen in round 1 and pushing north (but we didnt win it) c'mon the Dees, give us a win! the gap in games/exp isnt that great, it is no excuse (esp if Garlett and Grimes come in)

no chance. even with their easy draw this year. they've been smashed by good teams: 103 pts WC, 90 pts Crows etc. port easily beat them 10 wins max. only thing I want from this season? BEAT THE [censored] SAINTS!!

Hope he gets an opportunity at another club and does well. He deserves it. He will have even less chance of playing for us next year with melksham and maybe hibberd. And hunt Wagner etc all older

Howe seems great... for 6 games. Then he switches off. Has never played a full consistent season and I doubt he ever will

Its a pity we are not a realistic chance of making finals. it is such a motivating factor and as much as the players would say and believe that they are trying 100% for the rest of the season, you try an extra 10% when you are playing for something tangible

The only way it would work is if there are rules round it so that your best players cannot leave for more money/flags i would have no problem if Grimes wanted mid season to move to another club that would play him. I'd like to see him play. I'm sure a team with injuries or poor at the back would play him. not sure what the rules would be... played less than 20% games for the 1s. not top 10 highest paid, not younger than 25? and include VFL players

40 shots on goal from 59 inside 50's! that has to be a record conversion rate. they should have won by 10 goals + north will keep sliding - they are weak and once they drop in a year or two they'll be there a while :-)

Only 1 best 22 player missing through injury at round 11 is great going referring to Salem. H should be back at casey next weekend hopefully sets us up to have a real crack at the second half of the season and allow all our young players to play multiple games together and gel. And getting Angus back will be awesome, a real beef-injection if you will

two things: they are around 3 years more advanced than us - they are not a 'young team' anymore they will have massive salary cap issues and stars will have to leave by the time we are really pushing for a flag - 3 years from now hopefully they are starting to feel the cap pressure and having some culture problems. we need to keep bringing young talent in rather than doing a 'North' and getting mature top up players and hopefully we will have our own dynasty from 2019-2025 ps. if i see scully win a flag i will literally spew. id prefer to see Hawks win another one rather than this bunch of fkwits

You'd think Vince will get a week. so at least one out. Kennedy/Stretch/Jetta were poor yesterday. Out Vince - in Brayshaw Out Stretch - In Harmes we are in an awkward position with Garlett as he was dropped for certain reasons and hasnt really performed. but he is the type of player that will not play great in the 2's IMO. Roosey will lose some face if he picks him si I expect to wait until he has a high tackle game
