James Jordon Re-Signs Until 2023
That original quote was from 2015. Still not sure what Garbo was talking about though

CHANGES: Rd 10 vs Adelaide
My recollection was they only threw TMac on a wing in 2018 when he was struggling to get near it early in a game. No issues with that this year.

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Carlton
Jimmy had 13 tackles to go with his standard 20 disposals. Only 50% DE, though.

Says more about North than us. Unless they beat the undefeated team ?

Did Melksham or Baker play for Casey?

Lets remove the Norm Smith Curse
Should preface this by saying I'm not a fan of a song before the game, but... I went to a game a few years ago and they were playing Uprising by Muse. I thought at the time 'How appropriate to play at Melbourne games'. Then I found out the played it at every MCG game that year. Still think it's appropriate given where we've been. They will not force us They will stop degrading us They will not control us We will be victorious (So come on)

Rising Star Rd 08: James Jordon
Congratulations JJ. Didn't know if he was going to make it, but he's exactly the balance we need in our midfield. Can play inside and outside, great defensive side to his game. Good user of the footy.

POSTGAME: Rd 08 vs Sydney
8 word summary. That was not enjoyable. Thank God for TMac.

Christian Petracca is A Demon For Life
The one thing that will serve Trac well, if made captain, is his absolute determination to be the best and be successful. He might be everyone's mate, but if he can harness that ambition to drive standards among the group, he'd be alright. Everyone thought Max was too chummy too. Kate Roffey also spoke about Trac in her ABC sports segment. She was speaking to a first year player who'd just injured himself long term and suggested he go and speak to Trac. The reply was something like 'Oh, yeah, he's already been to see me'. Trac just seems to have a real love for his teammates.

TEAMS: Rd 08 vs Sydney
Reckon Sparrow is stiff, obvious replacement for Viney. Harmes has a lot of work to do to justify his spot in the side, experience or not

Coach Killers
The context was that, most often, Geelong were the opposition for the game a coach was sacked, the average timing was round 11, and Collingwood play Geelong in Rnd 11

Christian Petracca is A Demon For Life
Can't believe people are still buying the BS that Collingwood cleared cap space to target a big name free agent. They cleared cap space because they paid too many blokes huge money on long term contracts, not to mention the Beams debacle. Sure, they were shooting for a flag and nearly got there. But last year's clear out was fixing a god awful mess, not clearing space for a good player.
- Bayley Fritsch cleared of striking

2021 Injury List
Any other team with 3 ACLs injuries in a year? And two in the women's team.
-
Does McDonald go back?
TMac's around the ground kicking has greatly improved. Wouldn't mind seeing him back. Weid can definitely play up the ground, as can Fritta. Jackson is also a good link up player

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
We are so far off it, it's not funny. Still only 5 points down. Baker is a poor footballer.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Not good for Thommo. Not much in that, reckon he might be in trouble

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
It'd take $100 on Nth +40 for me to get over a loss today.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
Pity Sparrow wasn't one of the emergencies.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
It's a funny old game. Beating North isn't a big deal for any other team. But for us, it potentially means finishing on top of the ladder for first time in 16 years, and finally proving we can be trusted. A loss is unthinkable.

GAMEDAY: Rd 07 vs North Melbourne
No excuses today. Just expect the boys to get the job done, regardless of a 1, 10 or 100 point win.
