Ok the team is down and we are all disappointed with the last two weeks.

To be honest l give little hope for next week but lets not look like the richmond croweds that turn on their own.

Lets not look like that [censored] in the age today going off at the team .

I taped the game yesterday and at the end you see Robbo throw his drink bottle yea they feel it to .

lets take a lesson from Dean Bailey and hold it in if you need to say something turn your back as they leave the ground.

three years ago hawthorn were a joke as was geelong , bulldogs even the saints about 5 years ago .

look at them now in that time we had a lot of good times what goes around comes around in footy.

Its our birthday so lets all stand as one and not turn on our selfs .

In Dean Bailey l will trust will you ?

Emphtically, 100% agree.

Fair enough, we are all disappointed with our start to the season, but right now MFC needs our support, and a bit more patience. Let's leave it to the media, and the so-called 'supporters' who discrace our colours, to sink the boot in.

Are time will come. We will rebuild, and have another chance at being an elite side. We have a few kids in the system, we just need to draft well over the next 2-3 drafts and we are cooking.

I am an NBA fan and follow the celtics who have been a joke for the last 15 years. They are now top of the eastern conference and looking good for a title shot. The dees will rise again, like the celtics!

I heard on the radio about a guy you was yelling abuse at J Mac as he was walking off. That is deplorable. We are all upset about the way the Demons played but let's remember J MAc puts in week after week. It was his 200th game and believe me he was already upset - you could tell from his face. NMo need to yell abuse at this great trier of teh MFC.

I hadn't heard that, but wholeheartedly agree.

got this from bigfooty

This is my account of things. I was sitting on the flank at the punt road end and at 25 minutes into the last quarter i decided to make my way towards the race so i could basically let my anger out at some of the players. Within 30 seconds of the siren sounding quite a few people had formed around me, baying for blood. There were kids in the area too who were only hoping for a glimpse of the players but they got plenty more. After Junior walked past and was congratualted, the mauling started.

My mouth was open ready to unleash but 2 people in particular came over the top of me and launched into the biggest spray i've heard from Melbourne supporters ever, with the grand expletive total probably reaching 3 figures. I managed to get out a bit of my anger but not before Jace Bode had turned around, clearly [censored] off at the [censored] he was getting, and mouthed "**** you" to the guy on the front cover of The Age sport.

Quite a few people saw it and immediately reatalliated into crys of "My ****** grandma's better than you Bode, you sad piece of dog [censored]". Well that's the one that stood out anyway.

Besides that, all the players just walked past copping it and it was unfortunate that some kids hoping for a hi-five were subjected to such a barrage of insults towards their heroes. But thats what you get when you've supported a team for so long and they continually disrespect the jumper.

It's a little bit harsh to swear at the players walking off the ground.

You can say they put in a pathetic effort. But don't swear...that sinks to the level of Richmond and Collingwood scum.

Although it must be pointed out that quite a few of the MFC players DO get paid ALOT! So perhaps they deserve it when they play so poorly? Thats for the individual to decide.

Not that I'm an "angel" when it comes to swearing. In fact, I'm probably the worst! But that doesn't mean its the right thing to do. You just get angry and upset during the game.

Remember that disgraceful so-called Richmond supporter who actually spat at the Richmond players/coaching staff a few years ago?

I'm waiting to read in the papers when Cameron Bruce encounters Yze_Magic as he walks up the players race one day! :P

we all get [censored] at what we see on the ground l,m just saying in our 150th year lets not turn on our self .

and end up in the media looking like a joke the media are just wanting to see this

as we can all remember the Richmond crowed turn on their players and coaching staff

I taped the game too BD. Have a look at the start of the game at White and Robbo. Their demeanor suggested the game was already lost. It makes my red and blue blood boil!

BD, Good on you mate...

Unlike the masses on this site, I have been picking the demons for another terrible year. At best I thought we could do marginally better than last season, but basically, not to expect too much in the way of premiership points. Even with that said, I've been disappointed with what I've seen, but not so much that I'll become like Tigers supporters, who - as the adage goes on these sites - eat their own.

We've had a few years of better than average footy, and now we're suffering. I'll still buy my membership, turn up, cheer, and be as positive as reality will allow, because let's face it, the club needs it more than ever.

What I suggest you do is read some of the ridiculousness on here and 'ology as garbage, written predominantly from people who realise there is zero accountability on these sites. They're getting their rocks off, nothing more. Those of us who think 'land and 'oogy count as more than cheap entertainment put more thought into our systematic abuse. And you'll find that few if any at all of THOSE people are calling for DB's head...

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
