He would know Dean well, and Dean would know him well

Similar height to what ward was , he is 187 and ward was 185. So maybe he could be bring that run that ward did but instead he has good decision making skills.

apperently it was on the radio that dean bailey was lookin to trade for brad symes?

thoughts

I'll take him for a 3rd rounder.

Was very good end 2006 and then disappeared 2007. All part of DB plans.

Stuff Adelaide. Meesan can come PSD.

Port might want a second round pick and I'd consider giving it to them. A hard running defender who meets DB criteria (under 23). Get him!

My dream trade week:

Pick 21 to Port Adelaide for Brad Symes

Pick 37 to Adelaide for John Meesen

Pick 53 to West Coast for Ben McKinley

Travis Johnstone and Brad Miller to Sydney for picks 11 and 44

Leaving us with picks...

4, 11, 44, 69, 85

I can dream.

We need to get Meesen first...before we can start delving into other deals

Mckinley or Symesare only realistic chances..altho we have Miller and Johnstone and Carroll to give off...altho something now tells me, as much as i want to trade Miller...Bailey has seen his potential and can hopefully transform him into a Barry Hall....

alot of similarities....big engine, good grab on the lead..pushes up...

only thing is he

doesnt kick goals like hall

cant kick like hall

doesnt wheel around after the mark and then kick, he handballs

haha yeah

anyone got any updates on trade regarding Melbourne...i hope the Meesen deal gets dones sooner, the sooner the quicker we can move onto another deal i.e trav, chopper, carroll.

Brad Symes is a good enough player, but pick 21?? Come on guys! We got Byron pickett for pick 28. Surely he isn't in the same ballpark as byron.

Port are interested in Mcmahon from the doggies, so trading symes would make sense. 3rd rounder or later for Symes, and pick up meeson via the PSD.

Keep pick 21.

As for miller and Trapper, for pick 11 and 44, that would be tempting!

Good call on Symes guys, good to know he has some love (but not for pick 21!)

Brad Symes would be a great addition to the team however according to the South Australian news he is set to discuss his future in the next couple of days with the Adelaide Crows. At a guess Adelaide may be using the draft picks they have received from Sydney and/or the Bulldogs to make a trade with their cross town rivals.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
