Rumoured to have met with Sheedy. He said he was with a book publisher.

But yes I think the news is a top option for tonight.

But he also said today he would not be appointed to be coach of anywhere till the end of the year. He may shake hands on it but wont sign.

So unless he loves a good lie then he didn't meet with Melbourne and he won't be signing for some time.

Sports segment should be interesting. We were meeting with Sheeds today were we not?

indeed we were, not sure why he's wasting freemantle's time, i'm sure he will stay in melbourne as he has stated. but i still think he'll go to richmond, he's too passionate not to, having played there, etc.

would love him to come to melbourne, as he has said though, it's just a matter of him fitting in with the people there. I hope he walks in there, falls in love, and says, 'i'd love to work here for 27 years!'

Oh we all know he loves a good lie! Remember he is the one who keep the secret about him losing the Bombers job until last week, and not to mention he did invent the hamstring related "Virus"

Guess we can just stay optimistic! Come on Sheeds, we need you!

if nothing else a career in politics awaits...lol

i reckon we should seriously consider organizing a 2-coach partnership ala some spanish soccer teams have.

sheedy and a highly rated assistent (Chris bond, Guy McKenna or John Longmire) would form a ripper combo...

i honestly think sheeds and Mckenna are the best 2 candidates out of all those going for the job this year.

ratten looks certain to stay at carlton, particularly if they are competative for the rest of the year. Mark Harvey looks sure to stay a docker, and while the bombers also want mark harvey, they can't get him, so they look like getting daniher (lol).

mckenna and sheedy are great candidates. im def excited
