But please start better than against the baggers

In reality...it'll be all about the start ( opening qtr )

The GCS theme song is the ****test and cringiest song in the league. Imagine winning the flag and belting out that [censored]. 🤣🤡

No fans also…

First chance to get to a game today. Possibly the warmest game at the G I’ve attended. Will suit those sun-bunnies.

Not exactly a big turnout, but that’s Easter Sunday for you.

Certainly not demanding a win, just want to see the lads compete hard and show promise.

Think we’ll lose by 35pts and folks on here will lose their rag but it’s all part of the process

Great opportunity today for our young mids to step up and show their potential

A win would be one out of the blue... But who knows?

Gawn, Tmac, Lever will be tested also... Can they all stand up at once?

Go Dees ❤️💙

WTF is Disco doing?!

a chest mark for King

Laser kick from Salem to Melk

need more of those 2 getting it

Some very poor skill errors with just dumb kicks to nowhere.

This is start is going to cost us the game if we keep this up.

They're not Carlton.

We really needed that.

Good stuff .

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
