poor set shots costing jefferson from having a big game

He's been looking good, but he's missed 3 gettable goals so far. What a difference it would be if he'd snagged 5 so far.

Hawks now soccer one out of the air in the goalsquare to bring the margin back to 2 points Casey's favour

Soccer off the ground gives Box Hill a goal followed by a free kick and a 50 metre penalty to the Hawks and Casey trail 60 to 64.

Not certain, but think Adams' opponents have 7 goals to half time.

1/2 time... Heath, Henderson and Jefferson mfcs best. Jefferson would be half way to earning a promotion had he converted his chances. Should have 5 instead of 2.

Sinnema doing some impressive things.

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
