Thanks Andy, I didn't realise I needed to go into my profile and delete the old unwanted attachments.

haha I'm surprised (and thankful) you didn't suggest something from Sigur Rós!

I think transitioning from generic electric guitar pieces and current pop songs straight to Beethoven was a stretch as it is. 😅

First time at training his morning. Took a bit of time to work out new recruits and numbers.

2 halves match simulation- Mihocek and Rooey look good. Rivers moves very well through midfield contests. Latrelle has some magic. Heard Kingy say- why wouldn’t you give it too him? Steele looks very solid.

One issue. I thought on set shots kicking to goal, often misses were associated with having to lean back because forwards were getting in too close to man on mark.

We have some talented players, and I was encouraged by more of an attempt to look for passes into the forwards, rather than the bombing in of the last few years. Hopefully this carries forward into the forthcoming season.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed with our new coaching team bringing some success!

None of those three...see Ghosty's suggestion above. Follicly challenged chap.

His name is Johnny Randabel and he’s the Casey forwards coach.

Any information about Langdon?

There were some photos (from today), with him hanging out with the light duties/rehabbers.

I didn't see him down on Friday, though others indicated that he was there (more by omission).

No real help here, but I walked past him sitting outside his house, in Fitzroy, on the veranda with his partner and their dog this afternoon at about 4.00. He didn’t look hampered at all.

He was there running boundary stints. Did not look hampered in any way. I suspect it is a loading issue. Like big Max who was doing similar. We can be fairly certain they don't need to learn how to play. Probably a different system in December for the good older players.

I wish my Coach had have done that instead of taking me over the Middle Park Hotel and drinking six pots.

Hmm the later soundd ok!!!!!😁

Well its been confirmed that he will be missing the first 12 games if the year.

They can easily place him on the inactive list from here on as it would be considered a long term injury especially if they want to be extra cautious and give him more time off or even the full 12 months.

It's hard to see him making much contribution in 2026. Fancy waking up after surgery to be told your season is over before even Christmas has arrived.

Not too worried about Lingers - he was running freely.

How did Riley Onley train?

Apologies - didn't really stand out. Will keep a closer Onley watch on Wednesday, and report back...

Doesn't look like the same guy in the LInkedIn profile - also coaches tennis?

well theres goes our premiership chance.

I love Jake Bowey and he is certainly a very important part of our defence, but if one injury is the difference between premiership chance and also ran then the list is cr@p

Petty 2021 grasped the opportunity and earned a medallion when the in form Tomlinson did his knee - hopefully someone will seize the opportunity and make Jake earn his recall. I seem to remember when Tommo went down there were soothsayers who wrote off our season.

You’re not thinking of Tom Couch, are you? He coaches tennis professionally

He did go back to the rooms with the rehabbers, ie. earlier than the main group. But he didn’t seem to have any issues and as you said, was running freely.

There's no long term injury provision in the Inactive list. It's Inactive, season over, done.

There's no way we'd be putting Bowser on it now

(c) An AFL Player who is transferred to an AFL Inactive List is ineligible to play in the AFL Competition or in any other Australian Football competition for the period from the date that AFL Player is transferred to the AFL Inactive List until the conclusion of the relevant AFL Season.

Did anyone hear any beep test results, am very curious as usual to compare my 20 something self with the players, as a 50 something my knees tell me don't even think about it.

No, it’s the complete opposite. He loves the name. It’s his mother’s maiden name and he is super close with his grandmother (his mum’s mum) so it has a special meaning

Maiden name? Thank you! Using his secret question I've just got into his bank account, Mygov and Netflix. 😂

I bet millions get annoyed that people can't pronounce or spell their name right - even Garry or Crystal. Admittedly it's a very first-world problem.

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
