Im not sure why many of you are so negative on what has transpired

(a) First meeting occured (Proven by photos)

(b) Personal reasons (Intent that he wants to get out)

(c) BH posts on instagram

(d) 2nd meeting (why would you if you arent a chance)

(e) Player manager and Craig Cameron blindsided by meetings

The one negative is that Craig Cameron has said no at this stage. (Do list managers lie?)

Like others have posted, its a process. Let it run its course now

Getting Atkins in from GC and McLennan from Gippsland Power into our coaching ranks, wonder if this helps Bailey on his decision?

I've asked Neil why he thinks this.

I’ve started to wonder this myself. If we have gone so hard at Humphrey, as DF has so generously suggested, then if it doesn’t come off why not back down. There has been no suggestion that Trac is aggressively agitating to leave, just that he would if he could. And the club has said they continue to love him as well. Humphrey or Trac would be a fine outcome either way for me

I wonder what CP thinks. I guess it depends what GC tols him, but they ain't in a rush to lock down one of the best players on the market.

And regardless of what we read or hear. That is our position

I did get told that the MFC asked, If BH is a definite "NO" perhaps GC should try and extend his contract now as this will be a talking point year in year out for the remainder of hsis time at the club. This was earlier on in the week btw

Exactly. If it was always about Humphrey, then if it doesn’t happen there is nothing saying we’re forced to take the next best option.

Lamby, if you cave in on this trade where we hold all the cards.

Pack your bags Thursday morning and find another profession.

Could not agree more! and Yes I AM AVAILABLE to take on this Role!!

We are definitely a chance. It comes down to (a) how much Bailey wants to come home (b) how considerate the GC suns are willing to help him (c) if GC let him go

or someone having nudes of Craig Cameron to blackmail him haha

I’m sure between all of us here, someone has the skills and know how, to make this happen. 🤓

If Trac stays he'll have to prove nothing, and just play footy.

I love a cryptic post as much as the next guy but I honestly think that might have just been a it's good to be home post. Not a get me back here at all costs type of post.

maybe but I would ask you, do you think its naturally viable that he posts that IG and then hatch a story about personal matters and then meet up with opposition teams all in the same week?

You could be right, but it just doesnt look the case to me anyway

btw When I say "Hatch" Im not inferring it is made up. I dont know what the personal issues are

Prove nothing? I think after what he has done in the past 2 seasons. He has a lot to prove. A LOT.

Maybe it's just me but I couldn't give a flying you know what about what The Brand © thinks about it all.

Neil doing his bit to support our negotiating stance

Carrryst it isn't that hard Dees this is what I would do

1 Give GCS Till Monday to offer us Bailey Humphry straight trade for C.P

2 If they refuse then leave the meeting saying that we will NO LONGER DEAL with them over C.P

3 Start contacting other clubs and find out what is on offer

4 GCS will SHHHHHHEEEIT the bed and panic

5 Bailey Humphry becomes ours and if they don't do it C.P Stays

6 C.P GETS Back to GC and beseeches them to do the deal.

7 G.C Fold

NOW THAT IS AGGRESSIVE TAKE NO SHEEEIT NEGOTIATION!

When do I start???

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Essendon

It’s Pink Lady night at Princes Park — a vibey Friday evening setting for a high-stakes clash between second-placed Melbourne and eleventh-placed Essendon. The wind-sheltered IKON Park, a favourite ground of the Demon players, promises flair, fire and a touch of pink. Melbourne has never lost a home-and-away game here, though the ghosts of two straight-sets finals exits in 2023 still linger.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven May

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
